Well my Batman is autistic and after having a deep emotional conversation with one of his kids kids- he goes non-verbal due to emotional exhaustion.

I like the idea that B only started dreaming again (as in: imagining positive things for his future) when he got his first kid/partner, but big YIKES for the “soldiers” thing. Those are his children. His family. Saying otherwise is a big part of what’s been wrong with Bruce’s writing for a long time.
