A Kit Fisto I did while having free time at this year’s East Coast Comic Con.
Do you think the reason the mini-series Star Wars comics sell better than other mini-series is because they are being bought by Star Wars fans who may not normally read comics and not the "average" Wednesday Warriors?
I think that is a question that retailers might know the answer to better than I do.
Are you a retailer, or work in a shop? What do you see, regarding Star Wars? Do the people buying Star Wars only buy Star Wars, or are they readers of all sorts of comics?
A few cases here or there aside, Star Wars readers are comic book readers, not just Star Wars fans that don’t otherwise read comics.
The reason Star Wars minis sell better than other minis is the Star Wars minis “matter” to the same extent the Star Wars ongoings “matter” in the grand scheme of Star Wars. In some cases, such as the Darth Maul book where this is the only place you’ll get that information, the minis “matter” even more.
This is in contradiction to the way superhero minis are looked at, in which if something happening is truly important, it would happen in an event book or in the character’s ongoing title. Main Marvel U minis are considered at best supplemental, at worst completely superfluous, therefore they don’t “matter” in the eyes of readers and they rather spend their money somewhere it does.
HOLY CRIMINY! I’ve messaged you about this before but these people just won’t stop.
WANDA AND PIETRO WERE NEVER JEWISH!
They have had no Jewish identity. They have never participated in anything culturally Jewish. And Jewish law...
Seriously, montypla, could you know less what you’re talking about? Not only do you have no idea when or where Magento became Jewish or became the twins father, but you didn’t even get Stan Lee’s name right.
I think the question is, are YOU fucking for real?
