“I think you lost all interest in this world. You were disappointed and discouraged, and lost interest in everything. So you abandoned your physical body. You went to a world apart and you’re living a different kind of life there. In a world inside you.”

maybe i'm being like, petty or? sensitive? or whatever for this but i'm so bored of the 'everyone's gay awakening was [generic cishet white person] and if you say it wasn't your lying' or something style posts? idk they just bore me. no, they weren't my gay awakening. no, i can't relate to you. and no, this is not a universal experience, i never found this white person attractive.
Swear to god anytime you bring up blatant racial tones, lack of diversity, colorism, fandom racism, or anything surrounding race in main stream media consumption white people come out the woodworks to defend the white bitched for starters, defend white writers and label them as like blissfully ignorant, and act as if you as a bipoc are reaching for point out the obvious-especially when youve grown up surrounded by institutional and everyday racism. Like bitch i see racism so i call it out, i see colorism so i call it out, i see a lack of diversity so i call it out and suddenly its “do you think the WHITE WRITER OF THE SHOW thinks this much about race like you do” as if white people don’t have the most prominent unconscious and conscious bias of race that continously shines through in mainstream media
