Why are there so many compilation omnibuses coming out when they are not desirable to omnibus collectors?  Seems like a missed opportunity to put out acclaimed runs or reprint popular books like Ennis’ Punisher or Simonson’s Thor.>

No idea when or if we’ll do another ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN Omnibus, for the reason I’ve gone over here several times. The same goes for putting Omnibuses back into print.

We put out the volumes that we believe will do the best, based on our own knowledge of what’s coming up in the publishing plan and our ongoing dialogue with our retailers and bookstore sales refs. So while certain Omnibuses may not appeal to you, and there might be others that you want, that feeling isn’t necessarily universal.
