Instant Pot Chicken Fried Quinoa “Rice” Instant Pot Chicken Fried Quinoa “Rice” is packed with protein and is a healthier alternative to Chicken Fried Rice. Perfect for Weight Watchers and lower calorie diets.
Night in the Woods and Oneshot are both in it, not to mention literally hundreds of other cool indie games I haven’t played yet that look really cool and promising.
Also I’d like to reiterate it is $5 minimum for over $3,400 worth of content, which is just fucking insane.
Second ‘Bloom Into You’ Spin-off Novel Released in English
The second volume of Bloom Into You: Regarding Saeki Sayaka is now available digitally in English from Seven Seas. The light novel is written by Iruma Hitoma (Adachi and Shimamura) and features illustrations by Nakatani Nio, the original creator of Bloom Into You.
Regarding Saeki Sayaka Volume 2 runs concurrently with the main series. It follows Sayaka as she meets and is drawn to Nanami Touko and details her struggles with romance.
The light novel is available now digitally, with an physical edition planned for release later this year. The third and final volume in the series is scheduled for release in early November.
Bloom Into You is a highly successful Yuri manga series. Originally serialized in Comic Dengeki Daioh from 2015 to 2019, the series has been collected in 8 volumes by ASCII Media Works. Both the manga and light novel series are licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
A anime adaption of Bloom Into You aired in 2018. It covers the first five volumes of the manga.
Yuri Quarantine Reading List
In times like these, when we are all doing our best to stay home, social distance, and protect our loved ones from COVID-19, we need a little bit of entertainment to get us through some of the longer days isolated in a room. Absorbing yourself in another world through books, games, and media is a solace for many of us during the pandemic. With that in mind, I reached out to anyone and everyone I could think of, from friends and colleagues to publishers and creators to ask, “what lesbian manga or anime is on your quarantine list” and they ran with it!

Grocery store has reached the point where some of my staples are in danger, I knew about stockpiling rice and pasta but I did not think so much about stockpiling bread.
Bread generally goes stale in under a week or is a space-inefficient use of rare storage space.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve absolutely got a loaf in my freezer, it’s just a stupid use of space and I admit it.
If we go full lockdown it is going to be about time I learned to actually bake bread. I keep saying “oh I ought to learn how to do that” and then not doing it, but this is pretty well a divine mandate.
Here’s a very good but much more complicated sandwich bread recipe. Still pretty simple as these things go.
Here’s a very dense, protein-rich, gluten-free, bread-for-one microwave bread recipe that I used to use CONSTANTLY before I found bread that I could eat in stores. This is actually super good gluten free bread but it is. It is so much. It’s incredibly filling. I highly recommend slicing your bread product in half and toasting it lightly before using it as bread.
also if you want a really really simple bread recipe, i use an adapted version of this one:
no kneading, and if you make the batter right before bed it proves overnight and does most of the work for you while you’re sleeping
changes i make are: using half white and half whole wheat flour, using a very scant 2 cups warm water rather than the straight 2 the recipe asks for (if you can land it right between the 1³/⁴ and 2-cup line, you’re golden), and adding a fuckton of random herbs and/or seeds on top right before baking
Reminder: The soda bread recipe and the bread-for-one recipe do not require yeast to cook!
However if you do need yeast and it’s not available in stores or you can’t get to the store here’s how you make yeast at home: https://www.wikihow.com/Grow-Yeast
The WikiHow says that you can keep your sourdough starter in the fridge, which is definitely what I’d recommend right now while we’re all facing the possibility of limited supply.
I hadn’t heard the ‘feed it every week’ thing, and it’s certainly not what I do with my starter. However, I follow the recommendations from a sourdough class teacher, who said that before you bake with a sourdough culture kept in the fridge, you should feed it three times, each about twelve hours apart, to get it up and enthused about life again.
It’s what I did the last time I baked with my starter, and it certainly seemed to work.
Also, if you do decide to keep a sourdough starter, you don’t need to throw away the excess when it starts building up. There’s plenty of easy recipes available, like this one for sourdough crumpets. Sourdough crumpets are much easier than the traditional type, and delicious :D
I was having writers block and so I took a break and soon enough it was 3 in the morning and I had impulsively sewn together a tiny mouse you’re welcome
For those of you who asked, I have made a sewing tutorial on how to make your very own Peaches the Mouse!
I see people reblogging this with “to buy” but this pattern is free??? Someone even asked me “why don’t you charge money for it, it took you forever to put the document together” and I said “Not a lot of people have money and if they have some fabric scraps and a couple of buttons lying around they can make themselves a little mouse friend for free and that might make them happy and that makes me happier than receiving money???” Make yourself a liddol creacher! Heals the Soul!
Need some indoor crafts right about now? Peaches is here to help soothe anxiety!
