CR3: BELLS HELLS SPOTIFY PLAYLISTS

i tried to be totally normal abt my bells hells babies but clearly i failed so here are the playlists i keep making because i have literally nothing better to do (hopefully none of these playlists get as long as my Hannigram playlist which is almost 8 hours long atp and getting longer)

Individual character playlists:

ashton's (which is my personal favourite)

Imogen's

laudna's (which is probably the most fun i had because its not my usual genres)

fresh cut grass' (which is hilarious but also the hardest one to do 😭😭)

orym's (which is the saddest. poor thing.)

edit: fearne and chetney's playlists

fearne:

chetney:

i only have two couple playlists unfortunately but here they are:

imogen x laudna:

orym x ashton:

you're welcome besties 🫶🏾

(also i get inspo from the critical role official character playlists so check them out too)

CR3 EPISODE 63 SPECULATION

its like 3 am right now and im just thinking about the next episode. matt didn't mention deanna and frida, and he basically confirmed they did in fact make it to jrusar which i have honestly missed more than i realized. the moment ashton says they're going home i got this overwhelming clarity that they didn't just mean the place he'd been living. jrusar IS bells hells home in my eyes. i think bells hells is the kind of group that a willful separation in the future feels... unlikely. and i like it.

we're still in the shit now but i just can't think about anything beyond the character reunions and introductions.

i didn't expect deni$e to stay obviously, but i was worried that prism would leave so im so glad that emily misunderstood what was happening because she has no idea what jrusar looks like. it's PERFECT for prism and it means that i get to experience a little more of whatever the hell she and ashton have going on.

im a very firm believer in the slow burn potential of ashrym but it didn't really feel hard to attach to the chemistry that ashton and prism have together. it might not turn out romantic but i saw the vibes the same way i saw the love letters vibes immediately.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE GUESTS TO MEET THE OTHER HELLIANS. i can't even imagine what ashton's reaction to fcg and frida would be 😭😭😭 or his reaction to whatever deanna, fearne and chet's situation is now. i think that prism and fcg, prism and fearne, and prism and chetney will be very fun interactions.

when laudna and imogen reunite you will NEVER hear me shut up and im so serious. laudna needs her and i need them back together.

this is all me assuming that all the players will be at the table but i have hope they'll be able to squeeze in three more seats they have room for at least two, no? dusk joined just fine and it's not as big as it could have been

CR3: EPISODE 63 SPOILERS

I'm literally losing my mind rn guys

i haven't even finished the episode yet as im typing this, currently ashton is holding laudna as she cries on their shoulder after she sucked the life out of bor'dor.

i always had the suspicion that bor'dor wasn't telling the truth or telling a version of the truth, but i never really talked about it cause everyone was throwing out theories. i had an...inkling that he was connected to ludinus or just ruidus in general, and i was right in a way.

him being ruby vanguard is devastating but not surprising. it connected so many things that i chose to brush off cause i didn't want to seem paranoid. a specific moment being bor'dor killing the angel of the dawn father. during that scene, the way matt described the look in that angel's eyes as it died did not match the way that bor'dor retold it and i thought i had just...forgotten how the actual scene played out. now that i know, even tho i haven't rewatched that episode, i have a feeling that the hatred and righteous judgement i remembered was the accurate version.

i don't think bor'dor is bad, simply because i have no way to come to that conclusion when i know how easy it is to let fear and pain and anger drive you to vengeance -- the hellians are feeling it too, and i feel deep compassion for them so i feel for bor'dor too.

for all of ludinus' preachy bullshit he never gave me the impression that he gave a single fuck about the people who followed him or about the lives he ruined to accomplish his goal. i don't think bor'dor was some big wig, i think he was just a kid who was vulnerable and powerful and easily coerced. i do not think he is without blame -- his actions with the ruby vanguard have led to incomprehensible repercussions for everyone on exandria and outside of exandria too. (bear in mind, we don't even know how the apple bee's soul cycle has affected the fey realm -- or any other realms for that matter).

i think that there was no way bor'dor could have survived this night with the way it went. i don't think there could have been a moment where he snuck away. if he got a lucky roll, maybe. i don't think bor'dor died because /he/ was an unforgivable monster.

he died because laudna, ashton and orym were at their breaking point and none of them wanted to pull each other from that place of hatred and anger. they've spoken about feeling powerless -- terrified and angry at the situation they were forced into when they truly have nothing to do with ludinus' anger at the gods. orym, especially, has been struggling with his grief and his stubbornness, and this moment will have effects on all of them for these upcoming battles and hardships.

laudna. jesus christ. im so upset that delilah is back. or at least pieces of her are thriving inside laudna, seemingly every time she uses her necrotic magic. for a single moment, she felt delilah's complete control over herself and other people in a situation where laudna had no idea what to do and how to get shit done, and as soon as delilah had nothing left of bor'dor to scavenge off of, laudna was back to feeling weak.

i can't even process the lore drops of ashton's heritage and his father and the history of the hishari and the fact that abadina WAS an hishari ???? they need to go that cursed town soon or im gonna lose it. hell, maybe they're already headed there.

deni$e might say she didn't care whether bor'dor lived or died but i know that isn't true because she was a) the only person who didn't actually hurt him and b) she was trying the entire time to get the others to at least interrogate him. i don't think that would work for multiple reasons. bor'dor was yeeted to kingdom come so bor'dor would likely not have anything useful for them atp, and also bor'dor is absolutely not nearly as important to ludinus as they need him to be.

im gonna miss utkarsh 😭

i think that maybe if bells hells was together, he'd live. but ashton, laudna and orym are too... there's something dangerous about these three being separated from their people. dangerous for themselves mentally and for anyone who stands in their way. i NEED bells hells to be reunited again.

it's sad that the characters with such a strong history of loss and betrayal and abandonment and grief and loss of control would have the traitor amongst them. there is nothing that bor'dor could say that would lessen the pain orym feels having lost his husband and his father, of him and his friends being killed by a cruel, vicious comrade of ludinus', of the tempest being trapped /because/ orym was the one who led her straight into it. the gods are all good and well, but i don't think it will EVER be about the gods for orym. i won't say he's correct or in the right for his narrowed vision and hardened heart. he took that locket for a reason, and throwing it aside is a calculated disposal of that inherently inconvenient empathy orym has for people around him. he can't afford to feel. not now.

Orym reaches for Ashton, telegraphs his movement, waits for the okay.

Always, Ashton says. From you, always.

A breath. Trust. Orym reaches. Hesitates. Ashton meets him, pulls him the rest of the way. A massage that hurts--the good kind of hurt--that Orym knows he can offer without asking. That Ashton will accept.

Orym knows how to handle pain. So does Ashton. The burden is lighter with two.

Ashton, twice now, reaching out to Orym when he's in a dark place, not offering comfort directly that they know will be shrugged off, but being the one to open up, using that vulnerability to coax Orym into accepting the comfort he needs.

"If you see me falling down, pick me up. And I'll do the same."

Ashton, weeks ago, telling Orym he hopes he'd ask for help if he needs it. Orym still not willing to say anything until Ashton approaches. But asking for help in the way he can. If you see me falling... Telling Ashton what he needs, giving him permission to keep reaching out, because he knows they see him.

"And you can always just, you know..."

And Ashton giving his own permission for Orym's touch, trusting him to be gentle, to stop if he needs him to.

"Momentum means, you know, you don't really have to focus on anything unpleasant for too long."

And Orym's been running on momentum for years, most of them on his own, only recently having people around again to distract him.

And they get each other and they're connecting and they are willing to be just a little bit more open with each other, Ashton physically and Orym emotionally, willing to invite each other past their walls and be a little bit more vulnerable with each other.

I had a moment earlier in this campaign (maybe around episode 25-35?) when I thought “…hm maybe Ashton and Orym would be a good ship” and then episode 40 happened and I’ve been in an ashrym brain rot ever since.

Like don’t get me wrong I’m a Dorym and Callowmoore and Laudmoore respecter, but I just love the care and softness and respect Ashton and Orym hold for each other any time they have a one on one. And I had a feeling that without any healers there would be a moment of one of them caring for the other in this recent arc, but seeing Orym just reach for Ashton and begin massaging their hand because he knows they’re in pain even if they don’t say it? Absolutely perfect 10/10 no notes.

The world has been cruel to both of them in different ways, and they’ve both been overlooked in different ways. The soldier in the background doing what he’s told always. The broken thief laying on the ground to be left behind. The loneliness that comes from chronic pain. The loneliness that comes from being a widower. Orym constantly trying to turn towards kindness even when its hard. Ashton blaming the world, blaming themselves, believing that they deserved to be left behind.

Ashton telling Orym that it must be hard to be the good one all the time, and they’re here if he needs any help. Carrying him to his room after he fell off the air ship. Asking him what he thinks when he’s been silent. Looking to him. Trusting him with their pain when he knows they rarely trust.

Orym with ties to something that sounds familiar (Ashari?) treating Ashton with kindness. Telling them to breathe. Blotting out their nosebleed. Teaching them to meditate. Massaging their hand. Showing them that they’re part of the group. That their pain matters to someone else.

Since the recent 4 sided dive and Liam mentioning that Orym was about 5 when Vax went to Zephra: I’ve been thinking about how Orym is 35-36 and Ashton is 24-28, and I feel like we can see all the time how much Ashton looks up (pun intended) to Orym. He’s older, he’s more experienced, and they’re constantly looking to Orym for wisdom and asking him what he thinks and following him. Ashton may be a punk who has problems with authority, but he has no problem putting Orym in a position of authority. At the end of the day Ashton believes in him, and they believe in him because hes kind.

And just to be clear: if they don’t turn into any canon romantic pairing or anything I’d be totally fine with that. I just love their dynamic so much. I love the tanks constantly going into the heat of the fray, but helping and understanding each other. (Almost similarly to how I felt with Beau and Yasha last campaign)

ashton who hasn't seen dorian in weeks, looking at him in this scry bowl and saying HEY. HEY WAIT A FUCKIN MINUTE THAT'S ONE OF OURS. WHY'S HE THERE HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE HERE. THAT ONE'S OURS GIVE HIM BACK. WHAT THE FUCK.

and they're SO valid for it

orym doing his zephrah calisthenics for the first time since the solstice as he connects with nature spirits and thinks of his mother and for the first time remembers that there’s light that exists in concert with the dark. leave me here, i will never get up

SPIDER PEOPLE THINKERS LEND ME YOUR EARS
Anyway I started several playlists because im insane and i haven't been able to relax since i saw across the spiderverse almost a week ago now.
uhhhhh check em out if you want im actually pretty proud of them despite how actually sort of stressful it was making them perfect the way i need them to be.
ESPECIALLY MILES' AND HOBIE'S OMFG

i have a soft spot for miles' because it's actually telling a story in order of the actual spiderverse movie(s) whereas the others are just pure vibes.

hobie:

gwen:

the cluster/fruity four/arachkids:

i have not made one for pavitr because i haven't nailed his whole thing yet but hopefully by the time beyond the spiderverse drops we'll have more of him.

CR3: EPISODE 62 RANT

Spoilers Below, duh.

All in all this episode was really fun. I really enjoy episodes that include a journey towards a destination and I love when each player has to roll for an outcome.

I liked the quiet moments between all of the characters as we're getting further into our time together and are becoming somewhat friends.

prism I think is the most likely to stay with the group (if that will ever even work out, like marisha said idk how they're gonna pull that off but i really hope we get a huge ass table full of players). bor'dor, who i am still incredibly suspicious of, seems genuinely distressed by his brother not being there and i think they brushed off the possibility that he got yeeted too quickly because it's honestly more than likely that it did happen. or he doesn't exist and bor'dor is a dog (I don't even like that theory it's just funny). denise seems like she just wants to find dariax, kick his ass and then get married and run off where ludinus can't touch them. i don't think she thinks that's possible but i really don't want her near the fray. dariax and the crown keepers seem like they're in the shit though.

orym didn't react to ashton bringing up the ashari (and i don't know if taliesin meant to say drushari but whatever) and (idk if i just forgot) but im pretty sure they still haven't talked about that since laudna encouraged ashton to speak with orym about it. i kinda remember orym not knowing about it but i could be misremembering though. either way, i think this particular episode ashton is... really desperate to figure themself out.

between asking orym to help him meditate on rocks (which was a really cute scene) to his interest in the skeleton embedded in the stone (plus the cool new shiny ring they got out of it) and the crystals at that creepy ass cavern -- i really hope he gets some answers soon. i have a feeling this might be the place to get it though, idk.

bor'dor seems to have the impression that the hellians think they're strong enough to stop the god eater but they don't even think they're strong enough to stop ludinus. they couldn't even beat otohan thull. they're not fighting because they think they can win, they're fighting because not fighting is no longer an option. there's nothing to do BUT fight. they know too much, and they have too much at stake to leave the battle.

imogen and orym especially. and there's no way in hell any of the bells hells will try to pretend to be okay with anything ludinus has done or will do. they know what he and his cult are capable of. I'm glad they got to express a bit of that though.

laudna called Imogen her sister but i lived through a time where dean winchester called the angel who is in love with him his brother so i didn't even flinch.

ashton got a massage from orym. it was appropriately sweet and hilarious. i think... orym might be one of the only people who consistently has touched ashton. i can't remember anyone asking explicit permission to touch him. i am so jazzed that they ENCOURAGED orym to touch them.

i think ashton has some of the best moments in their ability to create moments where between PCs where rp is at its finest. we haven't gotten another round of "what the fuck is up with that?" yet but that pipe was inspired. i love the little moments between him and prism. whenever ashton does something incredibly thoughtful they act like it's uncommon or a fluke and it's such bullshit cause he's SO consistent with his empathy. he's not a fucking public speaker by any means, but he has an energy around him that is unironically great to be around.

on a lighter note, my favourite moment (aside from the ashrym massage) from this episode is either orym praying to the wild mother or orym fucking hang gliding a eagle sized raven down a ravene. he's such a cutie.

i can't wait for the next episode. team issylra seems to think abadina betrayed them but i think the dude they're supposed to meet has been murked by whatever is in entombed. maybe it was set free by the same sort of dispelling magic shit that hit uthodurn and unpetrified the bull. if that's the case, hopefully this ends with the power of friendship prevailing as well.

genuinely forgot to mention orym dancing with the spirits but orym was just so sweet and lovely and i love him so bad that i can't possibly point out every moment he made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

the fanart has been an absolute pleasure my god he's so cute and i want nothing but happiness and prosperity for him

we got a meditation lesson AND a heart to heart AND an arm touch AND a massage…just unfollow me now this is gonna be the only thing i talk about for the next week

Prism, hesitant: Summoning a demon does require blood from a newly dead body

Ashton, not missing a beat: we can make that happen

Orym: situationally

orym always asking silent permission and/or apologizing for touching ashton because he knows contact causes them pain is something that can actually be so personal
