To any any fandom people lurking on this blog; Frantic Fanfic is the funniest game ever

my friend discovered a website called frantic fanfic, and let me tell you,

its fucking fantastic.

essentially, you all put in 5 characters, real or fictional, and you get another person's selection. you pick two to write a fanfic about, and then you write the beginning of it. after a select amount of time, your work gets saved and you're given another person's fic to write the middle of. it swaps again, and you write an ending. you get back your original fic, title it, and then you all vote and react to it.

holy SHIT i can't even tell you how hard i laugh when i play this. i've received complaints from everyone in my family about the shrieks of hysteria at this point, but it's so worth it.

some of the highlights have been:

grab a group of friends this afternoon, and play it. it'll make you cackle AND it helps reduce writer's block

no this is not dark academia related but my friends and i have been cry-laughing for the past hour over the stories we wrote on frantic fanfic. it’s my new favourite thing ohmygod
