Do you think you could tell me what true strength is? I may be out of line, but hiding your true self and putting on airs doesn’t seem any different than running away to me. I would think that embracing the things you truly like and being able to enjoy them is worth more than anything. To just be yourself… I believe that’s what true strength really is.
Slytherin team squabbles
I keep thinking of a shy, unexperienced Tachimukai becoming friends with tall, stoic talented Nishikage. Tachimukai would be super intimidated by him, but after a few interactions with Nishikage helping him with his goalkeeping, they become friends.

Look, this webtoon is SO GOOD.
I’ll be honest - I came for the pretty boys and art style
However, I stayed for the story and character dynamics. And the constant existential dread this webtoon instills in me. I mean, look at this panel of our darling heroine; Even without reading the webtoon, can’t you feel there is something wrong?
This webtoon is such an unexpected mind fuck.
Like, imagine this scenario - one day you wake up. It’s the same as always, or so you think. It starts small - a uniform you don’t recognize. But not that big of a deal… until you open the door, and find a beautiful neighbor you don’t know acting like she knows you. Then it gets even weirder - a middle school you aren’t familiar with, despite living in the neighborhood all your life, replacing the one you were supposed to go to. And that’s not all, because you meet 4 beautiful boys with ridiculous hair and eye colors that are apparently real even though they’re full Korean?! and I mean ridiculous colors. Like, natural-born silver hair kind of ridiculous.
Soon, you start figuring things out. This whole scenario… feels familiar. You’ve read about it, in a web novel, didn’t you? But that’s impossible, right? Now way you suddenly woke up in a web novel, right? But wait, what if you did… then… then wouldn’t you be fulfilling the role of the protagonist’s best friend? Doesn’t that make you collateral damage? Doesn’t that mean you’ll be involved in all kinds of ridiculous plots? No. No! You’re just a normal girl!
So what do you do?
First, you try to distance yourself. To keep yourself safe. But then, what if you can’t? What if they end up becoming your best friends, the people you love most in the world. And they love you, dearly (even though you can’t see it yourself). They become so, so important.
But…
But.
Is it real? if this is a web novel, are these relationships real? Or are they written by someone else? Do these guys even have a choice but to like you, or is it all predetermined by an unseen author?
Can you let yourself trust any of it? Can you really let yourself… believe?
I told you, it messes me up!
And I need more people to talk to about it, so if you like this webtoon… please join my discord server!
hello... zuko here.... but i guess you probably already know me.... sort of...... uh,
When you're writing fanfictions in your head and people start talking to you:
TOASTYSTATS: GEEKGIRLCON 2017
The above are the first half of the slides I presented at GeekGirlCon (along with some annotations to explain things I only said out loud :) ) – for the second half, read more below the cut. I’ll also be sharing the slides from the other presenters here, too, as they’re posted!
The gender representation work is part of a longer analysis that I will be posting in full soon!
Beneath the cut are also a few additional slides that I would have presented with a bit more time – several of which address things that came up in the question session.
…And the extra slides:
Good moment to remember that AO3 exists to support fandom. And fandom needs to support AO3.
Spread the love for AO3❤

My new XP-PEN 12 inch graphic tablet finally came in!! Was gutted when the latest mac update killed my bamboo and made it too old to work :( I haven’t drawn non work stuff frequently the last couple of years and need to start practicing again, but here’s a Fudou.
We need an AU where Bede and Kira Hiroto meet please.

Finally finished this comic haha
I am probably 2 days late for valentine’s but have some SatoTeru 💜💛
Aishi shared me this lovely idea and I fell in love with it! Mutou being really grumpy and Terumi showing his soft love and kisses his cheek, Mutou can’t hold his emotions, he clearly feels embarrassed, Terumi is way too adorable!!!
I was pretty slow to draw it, and after sobbing because I couldn’t draw It well at first, I’m happy to tell you I made it and I love it.
