Ava loves to read. Maybe a little too much. One day, while you’re hanging out with her in the library, you notice her glancing at you and looking back down at her book way too many times. “Something wrong?” you ask. “Nope.” She goes back to reading. You ’re halfway into your book when she suddenly speaks up. “So…mom’s making baked salmon tomorrow night.” You look up at her with a grin. “Ooh, fancy.” She rolls her eyes at you. “Be there, yeah?” You wink at her. “Yes, ma’am.” You show up about half an hour early because Ava’s dad is a sheriff and to be honest, he kinda scares the crap out of you. He opens the door and smiles politely, “You’re early. Come on in, Ava’s upstairs.” He motions for you to go upstairs and call Ava. You knock on the door of her bedroom and when she finally opens it, you catch your breath. She’s wearing a black tank top, a pair of loose fitting shorts, her locs in a ponytail, and dark, heavy rimmed glasses framing her bare face. You smile to yourself, thinking she never looked cuter. “Hey,” you beam at her. “Love the glasses.” She glares at you. “I will end your life.” “Love you too.“

- 👻 Ava’s default face is her lowering her eyes and staring blankly at the person talking; she can’t believe she was born in this generation.
- She’s surrounded by complete idiots and fools like 24/7.
- Ava is so skilled with her tongue and she proves it by tying a knot in a cherry stem. MC gulps and she winks.
- “What I’m trying to say if that was me - I would’ve just run.”
- She has this raspy voice when she talks, her voice is so nonchalant.
- She used to dream of forming a band, she would be the guitarist and the lead vocalist. She volunteers MC as the drummer because the drummer is the ‘cutest’.
- She loves it when MC braids her hair; loves it even more when MC strokes her head.
- “You know what I don’t care? I don’t think anyone does!”
- She tosses erasers at Lucas’s head when she’s bored which results in Lucas to turn his back and give her a death glare. She holds back from laughing.
- Her favorite emoji is the ghost and the emoji with the tongue sticking out.
- She loves her combat boots and owns like three pairs of it, all with different heel platforms.
- “My lover is the hottest. Suck on it, losers!”
- When Ava “Introduces” her parents to MC as her lover, her parents are absolutely delighted and hugs them both tightly. Ava pretends to ‘barf’, but the sly smile on her face clearly says the opposite of what she shows. Her heart is bursting in her chest.
- [groans]
- Not in a million years would she figure that she’ll end up with MC; she calls MC her partner in crime, the ying to her yang, the sun to her moon, the fire to her loins.
- “This is going on snapchat. Caption: Andy loses his shit.”
- Ava loves to doodle on her notebook when she’s bored, sometimes…she likes to write her and MC’s name. She doesn’t want to admit it but maybe she’s the one who’s more in love in the relationship.
- She ends up buying MC matching bracelets with an engraved writing of both their signs.
- “Tell anyone I bought you these and you’re dead.”
- She curses all the time, it’s gotten to the point where MC has to cover Lily’s ears and shoot their girlfriend the ‘are you serious’ look. She shrugs and says ‘oops’, but she really doesn’t feel bad.
- Right before she shows MC her ‘magic tricks’, she tells MC to say the magic word in such a sultry voice - MC can’t help but laugh.
- “All I’m saying is that you’re so fucking perfect, I could kiss you. In fact, I’m going to kiss you right now.”
- Ava pranks MC all the freaking time.
- “Yo, there’s like a bug on your hair, babe.” “So, I may have accidentally threw the ring you got me when I was cleaning my room up.” “Oh my gosh, I just got a cramp. Help me!” “BOO!”
- She laughs every time when MC falls for it and immediately pulls them into a hug and peppers their face with kisses.
- Sometimes…she bites them everywhere and I mean everywhere. Collarbone, earlobe, you name it. Her lipstick kinda gives away what MC and her were doing….

This is my Valentine’s Day series, if you recall I wrote ‘Realizing You’ve Fallen In Love’ - ILITW edition back in October for ILITW Appreciation Week and dedicated I wanted to another one of those, but for Valentine’s Day. My friends voted and Spending Valentine’s Day Together won the vote! Includes all It Lives Series LIs (Does not include Connor, because I don’t know how to write for him. Sorry about that). With that said, each ficlet is about 500 words and is in alphabetical order (excluding ava & andy, i forgot my abcs it seems lol.)! Hope you like it, thanks for reading! Ava:
Ava invites you over to her apartment on Valentine’s Day, she promises to watch movies with you and enjoy the ‘commercial’ holiday with you. When you get there, she has bowls of candy on the table along with an array of pizzas from Pizza Overlord. She’s even gotten your favorite toppings on the pizza.
She wraps the both of you in a blanket and turns on her favorite Valentine’s Day movie, The Silence of the Lamb, she doesn’t even flinch during the scary parts or suspenseful parts. Instead, she laughs at you any time you jump and throws candy at you when you least expect it to freak you out. By the end of the movie, you’re certain you’ll have nightmares about this movie but at least you got to spend time with Ava wrapped up in her blankets cuddling.
