Bahaha! I think maybe some fans don't understand how role division in movies and tv shows works. Jacob Anderson is the lead of the show i.e. he plays the main character. He is number one on the call sheet and had the most lines of dialogue, and the most screen time. His name is first in the credits and his face is in front on the posters. That's what being the lead actor means.
He is also the hardest-working member of the entire cast because he's in practically every scene and has to switch back and forth between two versions of the same character 100 years apart. Jacob has FUCKING earned his flowers and anyone who has a problem with that can come fight me in a Denny's parking lot at dawn!
Besides the, *coughs (racial) implications behind people getting mad at this. It’s more than apparent why Jacob is being submitted the lead role nomination. It’s not because of ;diversity hiring, Sam’s a bad actor, being “woke”, budget, etc. It’s because HE IS PLAYING THE CHARACTER THE SHOW IS ABOUT!
I’d like to believe some people aren’t this dense but yet here we are. Maybe in S3 Sam will get the lead actor nomination, but can we PLEASE stop trying to discredit Jacob as if he’s not deserving. Because this is TIRED, WE are tired. 😒
