ways to be just like each sanrio character: a guidebook.
🎀 chapter 1. hello kitty 🐈
- embrace being mysterious and reserved, but be polite, too.
- wear a recurring fashion statement every day, like hello kitty’s iconic hair bow, which may change colours based on her outfit but is her recognisable signature accessory.
- bake things for your friends.
- be graceful and charismatic even when you are misunderstood. everyone knows hello kitty. she’s used to dealing with the attention with practiced dignity and reserve.
- let your actions speak for you; bother less with words.
- never charm others deliberately. hello kitty is paradoxical. her allure and magnetism is effortless. when she tilts her head curiously at someone, it isn’t calculated. to channel hello kitty, be both confident of your worth and charm, but at the same time, don’t put effort into charming others.
🍙 chapter 2. cinnamoroll 🤍
- embrace mischief and play. embrace chaos. be the devious yet likeable charmer in the room. be just like the emoticon :3 in all its power and ambiguity.
- cinnamoroll is a café mascot. to channel him, enjoy coffee and make specialised hot beverages for your loved ones.

🍮 chapter 3. pompompurin 🍯
- be laidback and cheerful. to have a greater chance of feeling as good-natured as pompompurin, you can take naps as he likes to, and enjoy literal or metaphorical sunshine and embody that sunshine.
- be knowledgeable about shoes and have immaculate taste in them.
- wear golden jewellery, soft clothes, and, for full measure, a stylish brown hat when it calls for it.
- pompompurin makes friends easily and is not judgemental. pompompurin knows what it’s like to be mocked for who he is and so he doesn’t bring that energy to others. remember this when channeling pompompurin.
- embrace ambiguity and fluidity. people don’t always recognise whether pompompurin is a dog or bunny. he’s multifaceted and doesn’t box himself in.
- enjoy the simple things in life and revel in coziness.
👒 chapter 4. my melody 🌺
- my melody is sweet natured, dreamy, shy, and lovely. to channel her, embrace wonder, and see beauty in all.
- be entirely comfortable in how you are. my melody is proof that you can be beloved and popular even if you aren’t typically social and bold, and are in your own little world. <3
- my melody has two forms: her red hood and pink hood. both give her a different look. in this way, you can enjoy soft pastels and vibrant jewel tones equally!
- grow your own flowers and garden.
