As for the boys I think I'd be a bit more concerned with the science and what it means for the world rather than like...be excited to see them. Also they'd probably have a thing or two to say to me about all the trauma I gave them.

Not unless I found it particularly hilarious or interesting. That's not really an expectation I want to set, where people would feel like they'd get something special for creating fanart when I definitely couldn't do it for every piece and then people would get salty theirs didn't get dubbed or whatever. Just seems like a not so great idea. Not that it would never happen, but I'm not on the lookout for that kind of thing.

If I had a couple of monster boy scripts ahead of time I'd probably roll with that and focus my own writing in places to fill in the gaps! I know something is gonna happen, not sure what yet!

Absolutely, but it's not an entirely realistic goal. As dope as that would be, it would require like...a whole lot of things to happen and I think I'm far too niche to snag a deal like that.

I'd love to put my creative efforts towards a project like a graphic novel, video game, etc. but I don't have a way in yet. I still struggle to keep the main thing going with my business and content so I can't dream too hard, but of course I've thought about it. I've also thought about how putting that much on my plate could rock my boat too much, so I'm not there yet.

But maybe one day I'll be cooking up more than YouTube videos.

I've been debating whether or not to turn her into a full fledged character with a design and voice, I'm leaning towards a solid maybe! I also love the idea of her being a free space for people to come up with their own Trish, but having a third party for Rook and others to interact with would really help in terms of storytelling devices since my hands are often so tied with this medium.

I know the one you are referencing I think, and now that the moment has passed I gotta say that everyone raising a fuss over what was CLEARLY a troll trying to shock people was embarrassing. And even if it wasn't a troll, don't come running to me as if I can somehow fix it lol.

I'm from the Era of "don't like don't read" and that goes for my own work. I probably don't need or want to know about it, but also people are free to explore and create on their own terms and in general I think we should care less about what other people are doing, especially with something like fanfiction.

Just be aware that in small fandom spaces you are vastly more open to criticism and potential pushback on anything even a little controversial because it's that much more visible since there's not hundreds of fanartists doing things and you're more likely to be found. I don't condone anyone harassing anyone else for fanart they've made, but also I can't make people grow up and behave themselves. 😂

I haven't had this question in two years, but two years ago my best answer was "close the app and try again" because Tumblr sucks and nothing meaningful has changed around here. 😂

A few things. Character bios are coming and birthdays will continue to be a frequently asked question. On top of that, character birthdays are built in excuses to promote and celebrate specific characters.

I will still be horribly agitated by the "no he should be an (insert horoscope sign)!" comments but if characters are now created with birthdays in mind there will never be any room for debate and it will be minimized over time.

Basically, I realized my mild frustration with super duper fans who are peculiar about the birth date of fictional characters was more of an irrational attitude than a logical conclusion, and that having birthdays is actually a strength that will help me create events and content around different times of the year.

My current go to is the Starbucks Pike's Place blend with French vanilla creamer. Nice medium roast does the trick for me. Sometimes I like shitty coffee more than anything fancy because it reminds me of truck stop coffee, two sugars two creams. That's my shit.

I don't read fanfic of my own work at all because I don't read fic much at all and I don't really think it's wise or healthy to go delving into characterizations of your own work because you may be influenced or incredibly frustrated.

It's a bad idea. Not to mention I would be conflicted if I saw a fic that incorporated elements I wanted to use in my work, and get preoccupied with the possibility of someone acting like I took their idea or they played a part in the creation of my very personal art.

I absolutely support fanart of all sorts, I'm happy people want to create because I inspired them! But you've got to responsibly engage with it. Some creators may not give a shit, they may love it, good on them. That ain't me though.

The boys on the agenda are the ones who are on my mind at the moment, Auron, Faust, Finn, Alphonse and Seth. Though to be fair, I did all the daydreaming for upcoming content like a year ago, not counting new BitterSweet.

Lots of self indulgent things, not always the healthiest. Usually a lot of rest and just operating at a base level gremlin status. I had sad nachos for an early dinner today. I've watched hour long summaries of video games I'll never play. I nap.

I just sorta chug along and wait for my brain to feel ready to move on. It is sometimes detrimental to my well being and life, I'm thankfully in a place where it's not the end of the world if I just...go blob mode for a month, but it's certainly not ideal.

I'm probably the worst person to ask for healthy coping mechanisms because I am a very self destructive unhealthy person. Much less so than in the past but I also am plenty self aware. I always figure it out in the end.

Do you realize how in poor taste it is to follow up a question about what I'm working on in which I said "my mental health" with another explicitly work related "what are you working on?" question?
