who will find you when all you are is dust?

if you want to play a narrative-driven game that offers a multitude of well-written characters, each with their own motivations, wishes and dreams, a compelling, deeply flawed protagonist, choices that truly do matter and beautiful art design all accompanied by a gorgeous soundtrack as you solve a murder mystery, i’d highly recommend giving pentiment a try

it’s such a treat for history nerds, too: old pagan history, roman history, medieval europe. what is historyhow should it be remembered? our past, our present and our future?

little people caught up in big things, making history themselves.

beautiful game.

[ID: a series of screencaps from interview with the vampire, with text pasted over them. 1: louis looking at lestat in desperation, with his hand reaching towards him. the text reads, "i supplicate you: do not rip the child from my hands. do not kill her. enough death!" 2: louis, lestat and claudia in their living room. louis is standing and looking at claudia, smiling. claudia is seated and looking up at him. lestat is seated beside louis. the text reads, "this one is my joy." 3: claudia and louis standing together, with louis crouching slightly behind her. they are both looking forward at lestat and smiling. the text reads, "this one is my forgetting of evils." 4: louis out on a boat at night. he looks forward at claudia and smiles. the text reads, "she comforts my soul-" 5: claudia on the other side of the boat, holding a jar. she looks out and smiles. the text reads, "- she is my city, my walking stick," 6: louis and claudia sitting on the boat, bending over and looking at each other. the text reads, "my way on the road." end ID.]
