So it turns out that the new Kaiba and Mokuba from DSOD world have special dialogue with Yami Yugi! I may have gone a little crazy testing this last night, but here’s what I’ve found so far (plus some light commentary).

Kaiba

At the start of the duel, he usually says this:

Although I did catch him using this line once or twice:

Aww, missing his rival

As for the end of the duel, there’s a bit of variation.

If he loses the duel while you’re playing as him:

If he loses, but he’s your opponent at the Gate instead:

Haha sure Kaiba, let’s go with that

And if he wins:

Mokuba

This is what Mokuba says when he faces off against Yami:

And if he wins, he asks Yami a question:

It seems like Kaiba’s not the only one who has Feelings about Yami leaving :’(

But if he loses:

Very relatable TBH :P

I haven’t found any character-specific dialogue for Kaiba or Mokuba with other duelists yet, but I’ll update if I find anything new. In the meantime, enjoy :)

Thanks for the meal. It was delicious. They pulled out the best that ygo animation has to offer for this movie, and i’m in heaven. They both look so good. There’s debate whether he went to the past or the afterlife, and my prideshipping heart will die unless it’s canonically the afterlife. Atem’s smile is that of recognition and fearless invitation.
