“My biggest accomplishment has been the career that I have built, despite initially being denied from design school. When I got accepted to the university of my dreams, I was accepted into the School of Art, and denied from the School of Design. I went to that school anyway, believing that it would be easy to transfer internally. It turned out I could not transfer as easily as I thought. I was basically applying as an incoming freshman, and was denied for a second time. After that, I ended up transferring to a different college to study design. I am here now working with people who went to the school that I was denied from, so I’ve learned that it’s not the education, but what you do with it and what you make of it that takes you places in life. Get all the experience you can when you are in school; do extra things and go above and beyond. If you really love something, find all possible ways to do it. “
