You’d be surprised how many yaoi manga use the shrine-god trope! So here are a few I could find/remember immediately though I know I’ve read more than this with that exact trope - and some of these are great manga I’ve read with spirits/deities/gods/demons that aren’t necessarily shrine-attached, but thought were close enough to be mentioned anyways!
Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve last made a real rec list but I’ve got some time today and will definitely make a few more from the requests in my inbox!
