1. Self love is the most important thing. You can’t love someone else if you don’t love yourself.
2. Good friends will always be the most important thing in your life. Always quality over quantity.
3. People leave and that’s okay.
4. Nothing has been said more than this, but time heals all wounds. Give time some time, and remember it’s okay to be sad for a bit.
5. Bad things happen to good people and there’s nothing you can do but ride it out.
6. Lies only get bigger and never go away. No matter how bad you think telling the truth might be now, it’ll be much worse 6 months from now.
7. Keep a journal. It’s important to have your ideas somewhere other than inside your head.
8. Sleep is so important, and you don’t realize how important it is when your cut down to 4 hours or less a night.Get your full 8 hours.
9. If you don’t think you’re beautiful, you’re wrong.
10. Negative people will most likely always be that way. Cut them out of your life as quickly as possible.
11. Love people, but don’t trust them. Learn self defense and carry pepper spray.
12. Speak up. Speak up. Speak up.
13. Time does not equal intensity. I’ve liked boys I’ve crushed on more than boys I’ve dated.
14. Stop thinking the world revolves around loving someone else.
15. See the world. Plan to take a year off to backpack though Europe and experience life.
16. Distance is hard and you won’t get through it without loving someone more than you love yourself.
17. Don’t let the fear or guilt of disappointing someone you love keep you from doing what makes you happy
