Slowly, gently, this is how a life is taken

Yon | 30 something | whatever pronoun is okay | Random reblogs and drawings. This is a personal blog, it's not recommended for kids younger than 15 years old. I don't post explicit stuff, but I do reblog erotic content. Beware! My art tag is "Drawing stuff".

hey. to the fat person reading this who wants to transition or is transitioning. make your transition goals fat like you. please. the things you aim to gain from transition can be gained while fat. you can be/express your gender and be fat. there is nothing wrong with that, no matter what anyone says. i promise.

let yourself exist. let yourself be happy. you have just as much of a right as every other person in this world to do that, especially as you transition. it's okay. you're going to be alright, and you're also going to look fucking awesome. you already look fucking awesome. it's your body. own it.

been stuck with a terrible feeling that one of the episodes in the new black mirror season is gonna end with a title card like "the program you just watched was written by artificial intelligence" and they're going to be so smug about it and we'll all have to talk about it for weeks

oh hey apollo

lol

Hey, don't put shit like this on someone's art in the tags or otherwise. You just *don't have to say that.* It is not a compliment to me that my art is good but you hate this character and then insult them.

You can just *not* reblog my art. Or you can just reblog without saying anything at all.

I would have politely messaged this person to ask them not to do that but they don't have asks open and I can't tag them in my replies soooo. Public PSA.

adults of tumblr how on earth do you decide on what mattress you want to order

Go to the store.

Go to the store and lie on it for five minutes.

I know online is cheaper, but go to the store. Online delivery has a send back guarantee, but do you really know yourself capable of and willing to dismantle your bedroom because it didn't work out? No? GO TO THE STORE.

Go to the store and try it out and compare prices and nine out of ten times, they will match the online prices for you, because you're THERE and they can't afford to let you walk out empty handed.

Try it out, figure out the right hardness for you. Make sure you're comfortable.

A good mattress will last you 20-30 years depending on how often you move and how well you commit to taking care of it: vacuum it regularly and flip as per instructions, usually once every six months.

A bad mattress costs about the same as a good mattress, up front, except for the fact it will fuck you up for years and you might end up with chronic pain because of it.

Go to the store. Try it out.

I got a 46% discount and 18 interest free installment payment on mine, just cause I was physically there.

Figure out your budget. Go to the store. Ask to try it out. Make sure it feels good.

You deserve a good mattress and you deserve the money you spend to be worthwhile.

You've got this.

all of this

but also know what kind of things you need in your mattress. My husband and I like different firmness. We also both have back and shoulder issues, so for us, having a mattress that can accommodate chronic pain as well as our individual preferences was paramount.

if you are plus sized, please look into mattress weights and whether or not they can support your body weight (and the weight of anyone else you are sharing your bed with)

Also mattresses are expensive, yes, but they do last a long time if you take care of them. they're a major investment in your health, and should be treated as such, but it's also okay to get what you can.

If you need extra support for your back but cannot afford a new mattress, they do make mattress toppers, however anything under 3-4" isn't going to do much in the way of support.

Hope that helps!

man this is like the worst year for tech and websites

discord is forcing a username change that no one wants, twitch nearly banned sponsored streams, imgur is banning NSFW and removing old pics, reddit is restricting their API usage and killing off all mobile apps, apple introducing some shitty overpriced AR headset, the amount of fuckups twitter is doing i cant even count on my own two hands its all becoming too much i hate technology i hate you silicon valley
