Police supporters regularly admit that the police are the bad guys. They just don't care.
“what if people transition and then regret it?” ok. let’s do that with everything. no more straight marriages until the heterosexual divorce rate is below the detransition rates

Hey you good? you reblogged this like three times now.
10 actually i think
like i dont know how to articulate this but damian is whump bait.
he was raised and brainwashed by deadly assassins. he joins a pre established batfam who hate him. he joins a pre established titans team who also kinda hate him. he has zero emotional regulation in either direction. he’s more likely to equate his acts of service with his own self worth than anyone else in the family. he probably has a crush on jon and ra’s would not like that for so many reasons. he’s likely to believe that people are manipulating him when they tell him they love him. his trauma response to situations are to get angry and push others away. he overestimates his ability to look after himself. he’s the only son bruce didn’t choose. he underestimates his own capacity to care. becoming robin is how ur deconstructs his own trauma. coming to gotham is the beginning of the end for ra’s al ghul’s plans for him.
WHUMP 👏 BAIT 👏 why is he being snubbed in the ao3 tag. turn on your locations guys i just wanna talk.
Yes! Also like hear me out there’s so much more potential with his character that Dc doesn’t fucking touch on, because they show this and it’s up to you as a reader to understand his cues.
When you mention that he’s likely to believe people are manipulating him when they say they love him, it’s also in a way because he believes he doesn’t deserve that love. He’s constantly burdened by his past so much so he believes he’s a monster, not worth of living with people who have done so much good. Cassandra stopped killing and went to Bruce, that’s more then what damian can say, because he was sent away for his purpose was ‘no longer needed’ and sent to Gotham.
And there’s this mentality in him that he needs to be perfect and because of this hierarchy that stemmed from the League (that has now followed him to his new family) that his worth is less then the others.
What Damian probably thinks is that: Bruce is the head of the family so he’s the highest standing, Dick is oldest so he has the most rights, Jason failed and died but he came back and there’s obvious love that Bruce has for him, Tim was smart enough to hold the family together after Jason’s death and Bruce obviously loves him because of how much Tim is similar to him.
Damian thinks of himself as a burden that Talia forced upon Bruce. Because of all of this he believes he worth less in a way then everyone. And ik ik when he first came to Gotham he was preaching about ‘being the blood son’ and worth more then everyone, but if you truly understand this, it’s a way to solidify his place in the family. So he can’t be thrown away. And because of this he boasts about this as a method of hiding the possible weaknesses he could be exploited for.
And going back, because of this ‘hierarchy’ it’s also a reason as to why he’s so reckless, he’s suicidal goddamnit! It’s not explicitly shown or stated but there’s so much evidence for it, and it’s just so much there that I wonder why more people don’t take it in that way.
He’s in a new family, he doesn’t know how it operates, it’s a new environment and all he can do is analyze it and try to adapt and he takes the wrong cues from it all.
At the end of the day he’s a child, and he’s been dealt such a shitty hand by everyone, he has trauma and hurt and he’s so complex and the people that melt him down to a character trait of being a spoiled brat really don’t know any better or, how to decently analyze even the smallest bit of a character like Damian.
Anyways, I think we can all agree that Damian being friends with female characters >>>> him being friends with male characters.
season 3 predictions
yes this is just a "moon's haunted" joke what about it
if my best friend/the person i had feelings for said their life started the day after i vanished and had the worst experience of my life because it let them meet someone else i would kill myself in front of both of them to change the trajectory of their lives and their bond forever
i’m so serious why the fuck did kripke not commit to the bit and make sam and dean completely feral unsocialized freaks. they grew up completely isolated from other normal people AND other hunters. they barely have a formal education in the public school system given how much they moved around. they were raised by tv and left unsupervised in backwoods motels for weeks at a time. their dad was a paranoid obsessive widow vigilante that trained them to shoot first and ask questions later. they essentially escaped a fucking cult. oh yeah and one of them is the antichrist. they’re meant to be deeply unsettling and profoundly unnerving giant creepy men with knives and guns that loom around active crime scenes and ask too many questions. they are cryptids they are ghosts they are monsters and yet they are human. and like you just put them in jeans and call it a day?
how to get rid of the feeling that there is something irreversibly and unforgiveably wrong with you?????????

Dick didn’t set out to murder Zucco with the intent of being a killer. He viewed it as an unfortunate byproduct of his actions.
His real goal was to “purge the world of criminals” because “darkness needs light.”
Do you realize how unhinged that sounds? It means Robin wasn’t created from anger. It was created from the messed up psyche of a child who realized at 8 years old that the entire world needs something better than what it was given and so he went out and became it.
I cant properly explain how insane that is. It’s like putting the logic of the Joker inside the mind of child but turning it for good. Everything is falling into place now. That is why the Joker hates Dick-he is the one Robin the man couldn’t break. Literally COULDN’T because when he’s facing Dick, he’s facing the version of himself that would have existed if he had put himself to good. That was would break HIM.
Imagine spending the better part of your life doing your utmost worst to show Batman that people and the system are inherently evil only to have him fall head over cowl for a version of yourself to completely invalidate your reason for existing. How psychotic would you turn when you realize you have nothing to prove?
This also explains why Dick is so well adjusted and sociable in a way that Bruce and the others aren’t.
Bruce loses it when he loses his children, he thinks it’s a failure of his abilities and doubts his life’s work.
Jason loses it when he thinks he’s been replaced because his reason for being is having someone care for him.
Tim loses it when he comes to a dead-end. He feels helpless and lost when he doesn’t know the next move because his reason for being is being able to solve what’s wrong.
Damian loses it when he feels abandoned. He feels hurt and broken because he’s a child who wants to be loved.
The reason Dick was the perfect choice for Dark Crisis and to become the dawn of DCU is because his sole reason for being is to be the light.
That is why Bruce refused to destroy a planet when Superman asked him too. That is why Dick was the only person in the universe who could control the Darkness infecting him when even Deathstroke lost his mind to it. That is why the evil Justice League chose Dick of every one to kill-to make a point.
This is why he’s looked up to by major heroes such as Superman, Wonderwoman, the Titans, the children, the villains, and the civilians.
This is why Harvey Dent called Robin Dick “Batman’s secret weapon.”
Although anger was the baseline emotion, Dick doesn’t have anger issues because:
Robin wasn’t created for revenge. It was created with the intention of building a world so unrealistically good, that the level of the vision Richard Grayson was aiming for and set the standards for- is so terrifyingly inconceivable.
And that-is why he is a happy, feral, monster.
"Dick? A clearer version of what Batman was meant to be. Jason is willing to do what Batman can't, when the world needs it. Tim has a strategic sense I envy. I've never seen him move too early. Sometimes you do. But that might save you someday. I want you to decide for yourselves what you do--who you become. My job isn't to train you to make the same decisions I'd make. My job is to catch you, until you decide for yourself." TOP TEN COMIC MOMENTS THAT UNDERSTAND BATMAN'S RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS ROBINS AND THAT HAVE MADE ME CRY.

I was being cancelled because apparently it was classist to put feathers on dinosaurs.
Both dream me and irl me were very confused.
it might have been a dream, but feathered dinosaurs being linked to an ideology isn't that uncommon. Them being viewed as "leftist", "woke" or "gay" has occured several times.
I collect these examples.
reblog if you like dinosaurs, are gay, or just really like feathers
thought they needed a little reminder that they still have far more to lose if they double down on this stupidity. spread the word, it seems they're... very forgetful about this.
A small collection (feel free to add):
@staff You're not very subtle.
