I last read…

Dancing at the pity party’ by Tyler Feder

what I wanted: a friend picked this for bookclub, I had no expectations or idea what this book would be about

what I got: a personal and funny (!) look at grief

what I thought: Although this is a memoir, I definitely think that this book is helpful for both people grieving and people who want to support people in mourning. I enjoyed the books honesty and the fact that I learned about burial and memorial practices from a religion different to the one I grew up with. Plus, it’s really funny at times! So I rate this 4 out of 5 hearts that go out to people who are grieving or have lost someone.
