Whoever you are, I hope you have a nice day.

I'm not actually a turtle, but you can call me turtle nonetheless. (Or am I? Nobody knows.) Thanks for looking at my blog! I'm sure you are a wonderful person, and despite whatever flaws you believe you have, you should try to feel good about...

“Turtles are these slow, intelligent beings that live forever. I love them.” ~Jensen Ackles

In reply to thevioletcaptain‘s tags:

This quote came from jib, and it’s very accurate :3 I think it was part of Jensen’s reply to lack-of-preference‘s question - basically, if he could write a children’s book, what would it be about, and what would the moral be.

Jensen is really enthusiastic about turtles and that’s just really adorable to me

Thats correct. you can find it here at 17.40

Hahahaha, all I can think of now is you doing the turtle, Tanja.

This has become a serious issue in our fandom, and I’d like to bring some attention to it.

I don’t watch supernatural but wouldn’t you rather SHED SOME LIGHT on the situation

WE CAN’T SINCE THE LAMPS ARE BROKEN

…and the Darkness is coming

and we’re stuck in a pothole b/c we don’t know how to drive

I don’t see the lamps ever breaking free from this pattern of abuse until they break free from their toxic codependency on electricity.

Are you crazy? Without the codependency there is no light! It’s the basis for the lamps!

Look, I’m not saying that the lamps should totally end their relationship with electricity! Even I think that relationship is fundamental.

But it’s gone too far. Global warming. Utilities bills. Impending darkness. I’m saying…maybe they should diversify a bit…let themselves consider other sources of power…

Very excited about The Darkness, because this is my theory:

It’s Chaos.

In Paradise Lost (which the writers seem to base a lot of their biblical characters off of i.e. Lucifer, God, Uriel, Gabriel, Abdiel, Michael), Lucifer has to essentially swim through this non-space space that is Chaos’s realm and therefore referred to as Chaos. It’s essentially this evil, dark-matter-esque aether, and it kind of cushions the proverbial space between Hell and Earth. Even the Morningstar is really hesitant about having to swim through it.

I think that that is what Carver is getting at with The Darkness. Which, to me, is really exciting… In Paradise Lost, Chaos is personified as the King of his Realm, so maybe we’re going to see a really big player in the Fall? Someone to whom MOTW and witches like Rowena are literally nothing.

Anonymous asked:

your story made me cry

Um, which story in particular, anon?

And also, thank you! (I think? I’ll take it as a compliment...)

Death After 10.23

Death sat in a white Cadillac Eldorado, eating a rapidly cooling tamale.

Around him, the Darkness unleashed its fury upon all of creation. Death rolled his eyes. God’s shoddy handiwork kept crumbling, and he’d long since grown bored of finding ways to keep it all running as more and more parts fell off.

No, he was done. The little amoebas would fix their own mess, or perhaps not. He hardly cared at this point.

He shook his head. “Stabbed me with my own scythe. The absolute rudeness of that boy,” he murmured.

Death drove off into the sunset, unnamed horror swirling against his windshield. He was going to get some ice cream.
