I haven't been straight up abused by a job like this since I was 17. Wow.
Um. I've been working 8 hour overnight shifts at this 7/11 with no protection and no breaks, often alone completely and also usually with no one present to relieve me by the time my schedule hours were finished. This job paid 12 dollars an hour when I started and I literally had to fight for 13.50. There is no other consistent person on the night schedule. 40 hours a week, at night, this was my store. I did my job well. Damn well. With no protection and nothing but the clothes on my back.
I'd really like to crowdfund for either for either a lawyer, to file a case for workplace abuse, or a car so I can get a job away from here and move on with my life from this town.
I. I'm gonna set a goal for 1000 dollars. I've just been worked into the dirt and I have to help my dad pay rent while finding a new job and trying to find my own place. I really hate to do this but I'd appreciate any help I can get.
