it has been some time since our last words were shared
I have often wondered what you thought after the last message was sent
if you hurt
if you felt the pain in which I did
if your heart felt broken and empty
if you knew deep down
that our story isn’t over
a fog appeared
I begged to be numb
thoughts of you invade me

our unplanned 3am messaging

the walls which fell effortlessly as vulnerabilities spilled
diving so deeply into our depths
as layers shed
the intense chemistry
the deep attraction
the love that overflowed from a never ending fountain
thoughts of longing that made us ache with deep desire
how I wanted so badly to touch you
to know how real you are, how real we are
to feel your breath upon my face
to look into your eyes,
as I finally tasted the mouth
which spoke and shared such beautiful vulnerable words
the feel of your heartbeat against my own
as our flesh fully entangled
do you think of me,
as I think of you?
the words shared
the butterflies that danced endlessly
do you wish so badly for another moment?
just to feel your presence
the warmth which saturated my body,
just knowing of your existence and the rarity of our shared connection
a part of me,
will forever belong to you
