Traitor - Tobirama And Sasuke

Request: Well, I really liked the idea of when the kages are brought back from the dead by Orochimaru at the time of the war, that Tobirama’s great granddaughter (who is strikingly similar to him appearance wise and maybe personality too) would be there with Sasuke, etc, and she’s like Sasuke’s guardian - grew up as a close friend to the clan and sort of stayed by Sasuke’s side (not romantically - she’d be older than him anyway) ever since the clan was massacred, which would just be ironic given Tobirama’s feelings toward the Uchiha, yet his great granddaughter was very close to the very clan he did not like whatsoever lol. I just thought it would be interesting for them to interact or what Tobirama’s thoughts would be about it all. I’ve always wanted to write a fic around it but I can’t write lol. So if you’re able to do a scenario or headcanon that would be awesome! If not, I’ll totally understand lol. It’s probably way too much.

“Sasuke, please. Open the door.” You begged, your back against the door as you sat on the floor, the hardwood floors patterns were intricate to your bored mind as you only heard his shuffles from the other side. 

“Sasuke, please. I just… I want to help. I know it’s…ugh.” You stopped mid-sentence, sighing and running your hands through tangled snowy hair. 

You’ve been trying to get Sasuke out his room for a week now. A week since you’ve last spoken to him face to face. A week since Itachi left the both of you. 

A week since all the Uchiha we’re killed. 

The young boy you helped Itachi and Shisui raise from a young age. You weren’t an Uchiha but, you we’re raised in Konaha since birth. You lacked a surname, something your parents seemed to hide from everyone. 

You quickly went into the ANBU, meeting many and becoming stronger than you’ve ever thought. Your ego eventually surpassed logic, making you become…well… a bitch. 

That was until you met Shisui. 

You’d been paired with him for a mission and after a while of talking, and a good ass beating, or three, he managed to get you on the same page. 

Soon, you two spoke more and more, eventually becoming friends. He even played matchmaker for you a couple times, which you found very entertaining. Thanks to him, you definitely got your act together, thank God. 

After a while, you met Itachi and Sasuke. 

And that’s the story. 

“Go. Away. Please.” You heard a small voice come through the wooden door, your sad eyes still lingered on the floor. Your smile filled with a bitter taste as you gave a chuckle. 

You were cracking. It all came to you and Sasuke. You were the closest to him, seeing as how closed off the clan was, meeting Sasuke was a privilege, let alone getting close enough to help his father make certain choices considering the clan. 

And now you’re his guardian. 

How were you supposed to take care of an 8-year-old at 14? A broken child that was forced to see the slaughter of his clan through his own brothers eyes? A boy who is now questioning everything he knows and everyone he trusts. A boy who will grow only remembering the hatred he feels for his own brother. 

And you’re supposed to fix it as his guardian. 

“Fuck.” You shook, your breath became shaky as your white hair fell in front of your face, tears lightly spilling over the red markings on your face. You sucked in rapid breaths as you attempted to control yourself, the dark thoughts and endless possibilities of what could happen swirled in your mind. 

“I can’t…do this.” You shook. You’re one fourteen. Another life. A broken life. Your life. 

You felt the door push itself away from your back, not caring if he saw your curled up form, your left leg falling to extend as your forehead touched your right knee. 

Small arms wrapped themselves around your neck, with thin threads of black hair coming into your vision through the top. The small tears fell from dark eyes onto your (S/c) skin, his body shaking against yours as you tried to calm your breathing. 

“I’m sorry.” You mumbled, Sasuke releasing his arms as you did so, moving himself to sit on your lap, his body curling around itself as your arm wrapped around him. His tears fell silently along with yours, the both of you now calm, your tears dried up after half an hour or so. 

“It’s not your fault.” His voice was small, laying his head on your chest, his hand coming up to play with your white hair. 

“I know. I just. I’m new to this. I’m knew to taking care of a kid and…everything.” You spoke, forgetting how young he was and that he most likely wouldn’t understand why you’re talking to him like he’s an old friend. 

“You’ve taken care of me before.” He sighed, twirling your hair in his small fingers. 

“But I would bring you back home after. And now-” You stopped yourself, sighing as you dropped your other leg and wrapping both arms around him. 

“You’re my home now.” He stated. Your body stayed still, but your eyes widened at the statement. You squeezed him a bit more tightly as you muttured a quiet ‘thank you’ to him. 

“Home.” You smiled.

“(Y/n)!” A voice called out, your head turning from the battlefield to your friends behind you. 

“Kakashi. What is this?” You growled, pulling the leather jackets collar up, then zipping it to cover the while tank top you wore. 

“Isn’t that a bit informal for a war?” He smirked. 

“Isn’t it a bit informal to get knocked out cold while walking down Konaha and then waking up in the middle of a war?” You snapped. His eyebrow lifted a bit at the tone you used, your hand running through your white locks as you stressed. 

You’d woken up in the middle of battle, with Sakura healing you, and your back hurting you like a bitch. She told you she would explain but, the Ten-Tails was rampaging towards all of you. And you’re still waiting for that explanation. 

“Lord First! Lord Second!” You heard Ino gasp. Groaning inwardly, your mind wandered to everyone who was being brought from the dead. Of course, the Hokage would come as well. You turned around again, feeling a bit lightheaded from trying to look at everyone. 

There they stood. The God of Shinobi and his younger brother. Your eyes went wide as you felt their Chakra, obviously it was powerful and overwhelming but, it felt more familiar. 

Your senses were overloaded, your flesh shivered mimiking a freshly plucked bird, your eyes sharpened to the younger brother, your hands shivered lightly causing you to push them into your jacket quickly. 

“Second.” You mumbled, finding the similarities between you quite horrifying. His eyed scanned over everyone quickly, a smirk plastered on his face while everyone stared in amazement. Soon his eyes came in your dicrection, your figure straightened up as his eyes fell on you. 

“You.” His voice was stern and deep, your brow rose as he walked over to you, armour clicking against itself as you took a few steps forward. Soon, he stood before you, inches taller seeing as you had to look up to him, his arms crossed as his eyes bore into yours, feeling as if he was looking right through you. 

“You must be my granddaughter. Er- great granddaughter.” His voice was quiet and warm, a small smile in his face, his eyes scanning over his features. 

“I guess. Chakra signature and all.” You whispered as he chuckled at you. 

“I see you inherent my sensory skills then.” He spoke proudly, a small smile rising in your face. 

“Looks like it. I- I am so glad to meet you. Or, someone in the family.” You continued. He gave you a confused look, opening his mouth to speak before closing it as he was cut off. 

“(Y/n)!” Sasukes voice came from behind Tobirama. The Hokages eyes formed into a glare as he turned to look at the Uchiha. 

“What are you doing?” He asked, his red eyes looking over your ancestor before turning to you. 

“The Uchiha. I’ve heard of your relationship with the clan. With that one as well.” His voice and face went grim, staring at you as you walked over to Sasuke. 

“And?” You asked looking over your shoulder, your hands on Sasukes face as you looked him over. 

“I’m fine.” He mumbled, grabbing your hands lightly before you turned to look at Tobirama. 

“I know you may have not known we were related until a few moments ago but, you need to understand what they’ve done.” He growled. 

“I know. Times have changed. They were friendly to me. They-”

“They have murdured thousands in out Clan! The Senju and Uchiha cannot exist peacfully. They always manage to betray us.” His anger grew. 

“They have changed! And there is nothing to worry about now anyways! They’re all dead! So what if I’m with the last one? I raised him!”

“And look how he turned out! You gave him everything and look at what he’s done.”

“You don’t get to say that! You don’t understand!” Tears welled up as Sasuke moved infront of you. 

“Enough, Tobirama. We have a war to fight.” Hashirama cut in, all eyes now on you four,  your teeth grinding against each other. 

“Fine.” He stood next to his elder brother. 

“Traitor.” You heard him, your eyes glacing over to the ground.

“Ignore him, (Y/n).” Sasuke whispered to you, looking over his shoulder. 

“Don’t blame yourself. You aren’t the reason for the path I chose. This was for myself.” He mumbled before going off. 

“I know.” You sighed, joining the fight.

So lingblr/langblr...

I keep seeing things saying that texans refer to all soda regardless of brand as coke...

I’ve lived in Texas (north texas) pretty much all my life and I’ve never heard anyone do that?

We all just say soda?

Is it a specific region of texas that does that? Is it a generational thing? A rumor started by our enemies?

Please explain.

My dads side of the family comes from southeast Texas (East of Houston basically) and around there they say coke.

Most places we go to in Houston and places in Austin (where I live rn) they’ll ask us “What kinda coke would you like? Sprite, Fanta, or Dr.Pepper?”

Yes that’s actually a thing. So coke is a synonym for soda, but I believe it’s more deep Southern slang (or dialect) rather than a Southern thing.

Mind blown. So is the dallas metroplex just not southern enough? *all of north texas has an identity crisis*

Y’all don’t talk like us swamp ppl lol

I’ve (sadly) lived on the Texas Lousianna boarder my whole life and honestly no matter how far into Texas or Lousianna I’ve gone it’s always been “coke” for all types of soda.... including when ive been in Dallas (only once because I don’t really need to go there very often anyways)? I’ve never been anywhere in Texas or Lousianna that doesn’t accept coke as a synonym for soda.

I would think that the pan handle and probably west and southwest Texas doesn’t really use it, but I could be wrong.

So basically since I haven’t seen any indication of alterations of how Ted Kord (Blue Beetle) and Michael Carter (Booster Gold) met it’s safe to assume their meeting was the same as it had been before. 

Though if I’m wrong about the whole Ted Kord having a different type of Scarab from the other two BB’s then my next best theory is the fact that Ted Kord did pull a Batman and has nice gadgets and what not to help him still do superhero type stuff as he did when he had the Scarab, but in both instances Ted is retired and only put the suit on when needed most.

Lol sry for the extra addition, but right after I hit post I thought about it more and did some more digging and came up with these two theories which seem to be the most reasonable explanation.

Bc the mobile version doesn’t show a little icon for my inbox so then idk if there’s anything in it and I ain’t gonna be checking it everyday. Honestly Tumblr should put that feature in it would hella appreciated.

But again the DC Universe website says that Ted just retired and that Jaime picked up the mantle of Blue Beetle, but nothing about Ted loosing his Scarab and I trust the DC Universe official website more than wikipedia or fandom wiki, though those can be great sources.
