“Life is about the moments. It is common knowledge that we arrive empty handed and we leave the same way. Experiences are our own individual treasures. I wish, everyone I meet, a life full of mistakes, taking risks and learning. Making mistakes is the best way to grow. Mistakes got me here and that journey is the best and only sotry I have to tell. Maybe one day I’ll share it. In the end of every cycle I find myslef missing people and only people. This is an interesting discovery in a consumer oriented era. We place meaning and our identity on what we hold, or better said, what we show off. All we actually have is our sense of worth, our family, our friends and a set of values which make up our personality. Who are you if you’re not the collection of you’re experiences and decisions? What are we if not opportunity? Tonight I am he who leaves a mark in a foreign land without expectations of ever returning or ever being remembered by anyone who might of known me. I am a fleeting bit of dust in a larger scheme which surpasses me at a level I might never understand. As Borges once wrote: “The world unfortunately is real, and I, unfortunately , am Borges.” Time is real and unforgiving. I unfortunately am just just myself, “nur ich”. Just a mexican who found himself in front of a typewriter in a bar called Holler. These were the best nights of the rest of my life!”
