note to self: there is life inside you beyond words. you are unimaginably beautiful-not implying that your worth lies in your beauty (it doesn’t). you are stars, you are atoms, you are (oh so spectacular). i am utterly infatuated with you. i’d marry you if it wasn’t such a strange thing to marry your own self (maybe i’ll do it anyways). you deserve the chewiest cookie dough and the juiciest cherries. (let it dribble down your chin, baby. be a mess). stop placing your worth in the hands of other people. instead, right now, affirm yourself. you are (strong, independent, intelligent, worth it, majestic). look at your fingers, look at your toes, look at the hair cascading down your neck, look at the scars, look at the stretch marks, look at the birth marks, look at all that life brimming up from the small parts of you. (you are human). cast that negativity out, say yes. say ‘i can do it.’ say ‘i will do it.’ say ‘i’ve got this.’ say ‘i believe in me.’(you can do it and you will do it). note to self: things will get better soon. (things are getting better already).
