Meet the ✨Most Beautiful Tree Frog✨, Guibemantis pulcherrimus, a new species described by my colleagues and me in the journal Zootaxa this week. The scientific name 'pulcherrimus' literally means 'most beautiful'. It's a close relative of Guibemantis pulcher (just 'beautiful', ha!), but has more little spots and less pronounced lateral blotches. It's found in the northeast of Madagascar, where it lives in Pandanus screw-palms.

What in the goddamn Jenny McCarthy hate campaign in this? I am outraged. Sure, this hell site has plenty of blatantly fake, clickbaty ad campaigns; they’re easily identifiable and while obnoxious, give this site some character.

But to actively contribute to one of the most harmful fucking campaigns that has negatively impacted thousands and thousands of lives?

Take this down immediately. Provide a fucking apology. And whatever money you got to run this campaign, donate it to an autism organization run by actually autistic individuals.
