CUTE! This young gorilla and his father are very inquisitive, having a look at an insect visitor in their enclosure. The father is Shabani, a western lowland gorilla who is famous for being handsome and talented. He is known for tightrope walking- a skill he was not trained to do and picked up on his own from the ropes provided for the gorillas to swing from, and being a gentle and involved father. His son, who is bug-watching with him here, is Kiyomasa. The family lives at Higashiyama zoo. 🦍💖
