For April Fools' Day 2020, the Japanese Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account announced a new character called "Tribot" via a very dubious in-character report from Rouge the Bat.
Although Tribot will mostly likely remain a non-canon gag character, new artwork of her has been created for other occasions.
