If I am going to be known for anything let it be my love & devotion for Declan Lynch.

Azriel wants love as much as he's afraid of it. That's why he chooses people who can't fully commit to him - he is terrified of love (and rejection). So, can you imagine the moment he realizes that Gwyn loves him? That they love each other? I would understand if he tried to push her away because I'm certain he's going to be scared to death. This man suffered too much for the wrong people and situations. When it's about the right one (Gwyn), he knows he won't survive living without her.

i have a question - it might be a stupid question. i just finished mister impossible and remembered that post with excerpts from maggie’s twitter before the release and wasn’t maura sargent supposed to be in it?

Sorry, I didn’t get to this sooner, I’ve been absent. As far as I know there is a snippet of Maura, but not all of the snippets Maggie posted to Twitter made it to the final edition of MI.

trc really is abt this insane little dude whos like actually this dead welsh king is alive and buried in virginia and hes said to grant wishes to ppl who find him and i know this bc a voice in my head told me this as i was dying at age 10 . but this is normal its just a funny little hobby ive spent my life obsessing over in a desperate attempt to give my second chance at life meaning im just a little eccentric u know how it is and also im dragging all my friends in w me and they kinda dont believe me but i am so charming that everyones like wait what if hes right <3

I'm a little tired of the Hot Takes that Ronan's behavior in MI was motivated by Adam not texting him back.

Did the unanswered text set him off? Sure, yeah. But the seeds for Ronan's depression/mental health issues were planted back in TRC and cultivated pretty heavily in the narrative presented in Call Down the Hawk. And many of these issues were completely separate from Adam since Ronan is his own person who is not wholly dependent on Adam for his autonomy. The idea that a person's wellbeing is not dependent on a love interest is going to be very annoying to people who only read the books for Pynch or for people who don't empathize with Ronan's declining mental state, but mental health is ugly sometimes and that's the hard truth of it.

Adam's lack of response didn't cause him to spiral. He was already spiraling.
