You’re going to hear a certain figure thrown around a lot today: 79¢. As in, did you know women are still making 79¢ on a man’s dollar? Still!

Though the median annual earnings of all women is 79¢ to the dollar, there are some specifics we should also be aware of. It’s 60¢ on the dollar for Black women. 55¢ on the dollar for Hispanic women. Trans? Older than 35? Physically disabled? All lower than that median of 79¢.
