So. Basically, the idea is that Maximus and Leo are two different characters. Maximus is a big, ugly mutant who is feared by the whole wasteland, who defeats everyone and so on. No one can beat him, no one can outsmart him.
No one knows that Leo is actually in charge of the strategic part. He comes up with the battle tactics, he allocates the resources and runs the routes. Maximus made him his right-hand man (not Leo's will though) to use his intelligence and made sure that Leo could not betray him.
One day, Maximus becomes annoyed by two mutant turtles and a strange robot. On the one hand, Leo suspects it might be his family. On the other, Maximus orders him to destroy them.
