Ahright I’m reworking MerMoon so they’re more monster-y, they’d stick out like a sore thumb next to MerSun so I only thought it fair
Real fanciful while his fins are obscuring that gaping maw of his, Moony has a bunch of Mako shark, Moral eel, and Angler fish in him alongside the more obvious Manta Ray.
Mer that live near the surface tend to be a lot more colorful and vibrant compared to Mer from the Down Below, so naturally not a lot of people would take him for a Downsider. That said, not a lot of Mer from up top tend to grow this large, so to fit in better he passes himself off as having Mer gigantism.
Except he’s uh… not quite that far off considering even Manta Ray Mer from the Down Below don’t normally reach this size (around 30 feet from nose to tail, with a 25 foot wingspan), and poor Moony suffers a lot of the same ailments ppl with gigantism usually would (fatigue, chronic pain, headaches, all that jazz he really should not be this big,,).
Not that it stops them much, dude’s stubborn as a bull shark with a temper to match they’re fineee
