Hello! I am very happy to finally share this piece that is undoubtedly an absolute marvel!

I suppose it is super obvious what the reference used for it is. When it came time to brainstorm a piece for Words Unspoken this was my initial idea. I can perfectly imagine such a scenario between Elain and Azriel, after the end of the bonus chapter of acosf, anguish and longing in equal measure.

The looks shared between Elain and Azriel mean so much, there is no need for them to utter a single word. I know they will be one of those couples who communicate with their eyes and instantly know what the other is thinking. I hope you like it very much! 💕

I never can resist a garden moment with Elain and Azriel, so for the peace and quiet prompt, I wanted to show them relaxing in the garden. I've also always loved the closing montage of Notting Hill—you know, the one where Hugh Grant is reading on a park bench while Julia Roberts rests her head in his lap—and I've always wanted to recreate that scene with Elriel. I felt like this prompt was the perfect opportunity to do just that!

Do you ever think about this scene and wonder that maybe Jacks was telling the truth? That when Evangeline asked him what he truly wanted, he gazed directly at her and said “I swear this is what I truly want” before he went back to lying again?

This one line is the most true and unguarded thing he said during that whole scene and I will die on this hill. 😭

Jemisha; Monarch of the night

When Jemisha settled as a raven everyone was very surprised, they assumed Rhys daemon, everyone except Rhysad himself. They had expected something more like a predator but Jemishawas content with her new form.

When Rhysand and Jesmisha get trapped under the mountain she immediately starts to stretch the bond with Rhysand as much as she can to be away from Amarantha. Since Amarantha didn't have a daemon, Jemisha was able to stay out of reach from her, never allowing a single touch to come to her. Jemisha's heart broke every day during those long 50 years, she would spend most days flying so high almost touching the ceiling of most rooms to avoid Amarantha, she knew that if Rhys felt her touching her, putting her disgusting hands on her; he would break and would never be the same.

When they first meet Feyre, the intrigue was there. Why would a human girl with no daemon would cause her such curiosity, It's only when Feyre is killed and brought back with Aster at her side that they understand. She is Rhysand's mate.

Daemons don't have mates, they have strong emotions for their human mate's daemon, while they still have a strong connection with their humans mate, the connection between the daemons of a mated pair is unbreakable and different. It's more tender and more complex than a normal relationship.

"Feyre, darling" Jemsisha tenderly calls me while resting on Aster's back. "You are the biggest gift we could have received." I caress her head slowly and delicately. I watch her as she closes her eyes and leans into my hand.

Jemisha is the side of Rhys that often feels his insecurities and pain the most, she is the more humble part of him and the one that tries to be reasonable at times when he isn't. She isn't afraid to show affection or admit when Rhys is wrong. She is the part of him that loves freely.

Jacks and the Archer

This theory is in conjunction with my theory on his One True Love. Spoilers below for OUABH and TBONA.

As I mentioned in that theory, I believe Evangeline is going to become his one true love, but that's not the reason his kiss won't kill her. It will, UNLESS he finally breaks the Archer's Curse properly. He even says as such in Ballad.

"The curse only breaks when the Archer kills his prey."

(He goes on to say every curse has a back door, but I don't think he found it.)

As a reminder, the Archer's Curse drove him to shoot his fox through the heart with an arrow. But he resisted the urge, and thought that was enough--it wasn't. Because he only resisted; he didn't break or fulfill the curse.

And that's when his kiss killed for the first time. And has been killing whoever he kisses ever since. So because he never truly broke or fulfilled the Archer's Curse, he's remained cursed with his kiss of death.

Which to me means in order to truly break it, to be able to kiss Evangeline and not kill her, it’s not a matter of her being his one true love. He has to fulfill the curse: he has to shoot his fox through the heart with an arrow.

Ironically we hear about an "arrow of heartbreak" in OUABH:

But it was never what she really wanted. It was never warmth on her skin, tingling in her toes, or the touch of another person letting her know that she was not completely alone in the world. It was usually just an arrow of heartbreak.

Perhaps after he does this, his curse will finally break, and his kiss will do the opposite of what it always has: instead of death, it will give life, and save Evangeline.

"I want to save the boy I love. I’m just going to have to hope he’ll decide to save me, too."
