I've been thinking about this a lot lately. You know how it is... I get obsessed with something and start thinking about it all the time. Check this nice website about coloring pages. So, I'm writing this article to try and make myself understand what I'm obsessing about better.

How to Draw Animals Like a Pro

One of the things that has been bothering me lately is drawing animals. Now, I know you probably have a ton of knowledge when it comes to drawing animals (it's why you're here) but as a novice, there are things that confuse me: What should my line weights be? What kind of paper should I use? Do I need any special training? Is there anything specific that makes one animal look more correct than another? And what's wrong with my dog? Why does he always have this weird nose or mouth shape? Oh, right... he's an anthropomorphic animal!

Let's talk about all of these things in the following articles: Drawing Animals, The Basics of Drawing Animals, Line Weights and Drawing Tips for Animals, Paper for Drawing Animals, The Anatomy of an Animal (Part 1), The Anatomy of an Animal (Part 2), The Anatomy of a Dog Head/Dog Body/Dog Shoulder/Dog Leg/Dog Tail - Part 1 and Part 2 - and finally Dogs in Art History. Each one will tell you something different about your drawing style. And even if you've read them all before, hopefully they'll help clarify some things for you.
