Why is this show making Starlight and Sunburst look like they had this messy falling out when he just went to a different school. I know it’s weird for me to keep bringing it up but this relationship is literally the catalyst for so many of Starlight’s issues and yet it’s the most tepid shit I’ve ever seen.

One of my favourite moments in mlp fim's later seasons was that one episode where starlight was trying to find ways to bond with starburst but it turns out they have barely anything in common with eachother and starburst keeps having these cute montages of him bonding with other characters like twilight and trixie. The part that made me burst out laughing was when he had that montage with maud pie....... MAUD PIE!!! The sad part is is that this was one of the few times in mlp where starburst seemed truly relaxed. The only pleasant memory starlight and him have was one board game they played as kids.
