It genuinely upsets me that there are people who call this animation and voice acting bad, there’s so much heart and soul on display in just this clip alone

At first glance: ‘lol this is going to be one of those hilariously cheap animations’

30 seconds in: ‘…Oh my god this is fantastic’

“WHO DARES TO INVOKE WXRTHLTL-JWLPKLZ?” “Where were you when the vowels were bein’ handed out, behind the door??”

canon is but the sandbox in which i strike lightning to form glass. trouble me no more with your quibblings and quorums, lest i grind you to dust beneath my heel and build stories from the remnants of your bones. avast, foul fiend

“your au isn’t completely canon compliant”

And what exactly do you think “au” stands for? “Accurate universe”?

I’m paying to force seven thousand strangers to see a photo of my late husband having fun with his dog. Tumblr Blaze is totally worth it. XD

Thank-you to all of my new Internet stranger friends for being so gracious about having my post shoved onto your dashboards. I loved reading all of your kind tags and comments! Both Martin and Bosco have been gone for several years now but for 24 hours, they felt very present in my life. I greatly appreciate this gift. ❤️

Trans Missourians on HRT, call your doctor as soon as possible and get a 90-day supply or as much as they’ll give you.

Lots of us are going to have to relocate or go through costly and/or illegal channels to acquire HRT now.

I invite trans people in MO to add their payment links this post. We desperately need support. We need people to give a shit right now. This is life-or-death for many of us.

Here’s mine:

I’ve been seeing a lot of anti-Nazi ones, which is great, but I felt like we needed one to show our support for the Jewish community.

all you goyim I follow - I see you reblogging this and it warms me.

I keep getting shown transmasc posts and I actually love that for one reason in particular: a lot of trans men are talking about issues that affect men in general.

I see a lot of pushback against the idea of "transandrophobia" and maybe I've missed something, but fuck it, I'm gonna throw my name behind that movement because it *sounds* correct, from all I've seen so far.

It bothers me that there would be pushback at all, actually, because that indicates that we're still not willing to discuss how patriarchy oppresses men. And if you just scoffed at that, you're part of the problem.

In general, patriarchy upholds a role for both sexes that don't work for an actual human being:

Women are reduced to sex objects. They are emotional and weak, and they can't be trusted with anything outside of child rearing and household chores. This is misogyny, and it's the part you know.

Men are reduced to working bodies. They are emotionless and cold. They keep the family alive, they come up with the ideas, they worry about everything, and they do it all alone, stoically. This is misandry, and it's the part people will laugh at.

You may think the description of men's role is too positive, but I think that means you've never experienced it yourself. As a trans woman, I have. I can tell you with some certainty that the reason why men are "like that" is because they're required by society to be emotionally isolated and expressionless. If they don't go through life "like that" (even to the extent that being "like that" harms women or perpetuates patriarchal oppression of all genders) they're emasculated and shamed and ridiculed relentlessly until they feel worthless. But remember, they can't express that feeling of worthlessness either. It's a vicious cycle, and it's what oppresses men.

Humans weren't made to be like that, and encouraging anyone to behave in that way is misandry. Reducing the male struggle to one of a ruling class is misandry. And yes, assuming they're all predators and misogynists is misandry.

Tying it back to transandrophobia, if you start talking to a trans man as if he's a misogynist for feeling dysphoria from something that would give a *cis* man dysphoria (i.e emasculation), you've really missed the issue. But from the look of things, trans men haven't missed the issue. You just dismissed them like you would any man before the issue could be breached.

That's not constructive, and it's not going to lead to female empowerment any time soon. It's just going to stall men's lib.
