Here’s a pretty comprehensive write-up:

Love really is just "I’m thinking of you. I will ask you if you are okay. I remember your favorite flavor of tea. I want to talk to you. I hope your mother is well. I will read to you. I like your laugh. I want to help you. I will sit next to you. I got you the chocolate you like. Your eyes have gold in them. I think you'd like this book. I miss you when you aren't here." isn't it?
Love should not feel like a drama movie. It shouldn’t be in constant turmoil; it shouldn’t be full of ups and downs. It is not supposed to hurt more than it makes you happy. The feeling of bliss should be long-lasting and not something that happens once every month after days of fighting. You shouldn’t have to fight to make someone love you with their whole heart and to give you respect. Love shouldn’t be burning you. The unending emotional misery is not a part of real love that you have to put up with - you don’t have to put up with abuse to be loved. Relationships can hurt, but love is supposed to feel good at its core. It is supposed to make you feel good and safe, not scared it will leave you at any second. It isn’t supposed to feel sharp in your hands when you hold it. It isn’t supposed to make your heart torn.
