what is with some people on here and their bizarre, stubborn, fingers-in-ears refusal to acknowledge that tweens and teens are going through developmental stages in which it is completely normal to feel uncomfortable about sex and relationships, to have changing feelings about sex and relationships, to feel unsure about those feelings, and to experience those changes differently from their peers because people are different and growing up is complicated

PLEASE DONATE TO A BLACK LESBIAN COUPLE IN NEED

Please be generous. This is for the survival of a Black lesbian couple.

We are raising funds on behalf of two people close to us. They will get every penny donated.

They are in their early twenties, and spend every available hour working in fast food. They live paycheck to paycheck, going so far as to donate plasma twice a week just so that they can break even.

With your donations, they will be able to survive. They will spend every cent given on rent and food. This is all that they work for, and to have the assurance that they will have rent this month would be phenomenal for such a hardworking couple.

As far as their work, the working conditions are terrible… zero breaks, inhumane hours, unsafe working conditions, horrible mistreatment from bosses

The younger of the two, age 21, was sent to the hospital last week. She attempted to call out of work but she was told she couldn’t even though she followed procedure and called 6 hours early. During her shift, she started seeing double vision and felt nauseous, almost fainting, to which her boss told her to go stand in the freezer. It wasn’t until she vomited that her boss allowed her to be picked up. She fainted, and went straight to the hospital. She ended up staying overnight at the hostpital, having been overworked and dehydrated, and having donated too much plasma. Unforunately, she can not stop donating plasma, nor take the necessary break from work to get her healthy, because she has no funds. (She also experiences chronic pain in her knees from a car accident and stands on her feet for 9 hours)

As a result of having to leave work to go to the hospital, her boss has become even more belligerent. She is now closing on Thanksgiving day (3 am), meaning that she will not only be unable to spend the day with family, but also that she will be walking home at four in the morning alone.

Additionally, last month her boss took 200$ out of her paycheck because someone gave her a counterfeit bill and she had not been given a counterfeit pen. If she had not finished the transaction within the allotted minute and gotten the counterfeit pen, she would have been punished. Because of this incident, she worked nearly an entire week for no pay.

The elder of the two, 22, has been mistreated as well. Her first week of employment she was unjustly fired, something that corporate had to remedy, giving her her job back. As a result, she is a pariah at work, and she is hypermonitered. She is currently working at two different fast food locations, one during the day and one overnight, meaning she walks home alone at 6 in the morning.

The two of them are absolutely drained. They are extremely hardworking, and despite their every effort are extremely impoverished.

Please donate. Ever dollar will drastically help them. With any of your much-needed funds, they will be able to focus their energy towards job searching for employment that isn’t abusive. At no point are they not putting every bit of their time and energy into their survival, and it would mean the world if you would help them eat and pay rent.
