A Christmas Poem For Those Having a Hard Time

It’s Christmastime, the streets are filled with cheer. Everyone seems so happy this time of year. But life doesn’t stop or take a holiday. So this season, I just wanted to say:

It’s okay if you’re not okay. It’s alright if you’re sad on Christmas night. If you’re blue then go on being blue, Just know that it’s not only you.

It’s okay if Christmas is lonely, It’s okay if Christmas is sad. You don’t have to be merry, It’s alright if you’re feeling bad.

It’s okay if you’re wearing a frown, It’s okay if you’re feeling down. Just know I’m thinking of you, Because I’m having a hard time, too.

It’s hard to see past all these lights, But so many people struggle on Christmas night. You feel like you’re the only one, Who isn’t out and having fun.

But you’re not alone, you’re just like me. There are so many people that you don’t see Struggling with this time of year. Just know that we are here.

It’s okay if you’re not okay. It’s alright if you’re sad on Christmas night. If you’re blue then go on being blue, Just know that I’m with you too.
