Harry with Hermione ALONE without Ron: Harry liked Hermione very much, but she just wasn’t the same as Ron. There was much less laughter and a lot more hanging around in the library when Hermione was your best friend

Ron and Hermione ALONE without Harry: Ron and Hermione had just turned up in the common room, pink-faced from the cold wind and looking as though they’d had the time of their lives.

Harry when Hermione is crying: Harry felt dazed. He stooped, picked up the Horcrux, and placed it around his own neck. He dragged blankets off Ron’s bunk and threw them over Hermione. Then he climbed onto his own bed and stared up at the dark canvas roof, listening to the pounding of the rain.

Ron when Hermione is crying: Ron, he saw, was now holding Hermione and stroking her hair while she sobbed into his shoulder, tears dripping from the end of his own long nose

Hermione when Harry is angry: “I mean, it was really great of you and everything,” said Hermione quickly, looking positively petrified at the look on Harry’s face,

Hermione when Ron is angry: “Take off the locket, Ron,” Hermione said, her voice unusually high. “Please take it off. You wouldn’t be talking like this if you hadn’t been wearing it all day.”

Romione Height Difference

·Ron having to bend a head and a half down to kiss Mione while shes on her tip toes
·Ron helping Hermione get things off the top shelf even though gosh darnit Ron accio is a thing for a reason!
·Shes secretly ok with it though
·Hermione being stressed after a rough day at work and Ron just picks her up and twirls her around until they are both laughing on the floor
·When Mione is the big spoon she looks like a backpack
·Ron using Hermione as an arm rest
·She doesn't mind
·Sometimes when Mione is laying on the sofa Ron picks her up like a baby
·Ron lifts her up alot
·She loves it
·It feels like all the weight is lifted off of her
·When Hermione is mad at Ron and is reading or something Ron will take her book and put his arm up in the air
·Hermione struggles to get it then eventually stops and slumps on to Rons chest and they make up
·When Ron tries to hug her he reaches out above her head and pretend Mione isn't there because shes short:)
·Ron gives perfect forehead kissed even if he just has to bend down a tad
·They have alot of fun with their height

Take me somewhere we can be alone

The celebration had been raging in the Gryffindor common room for the last three hours, and showed no sign of slowing down. Ron hadn’t left Hermione’s side, despite what seemed like every Gryffindor coming up to pat him on the back or congratulate him on a great match, trying to pull him away to give a play by play of what they’d just seen. Finally, things seemed to settle for Ron as they stood off to the side, empty butterbeer mugs in their hands.

“It’s rather loud in here, isn’t it?” Hermione asked as they observed their fellow classmates living it up.

Ron chuckled, “What, you don’t want to go all prefect on everyone, do you?”

“No! They can have fun. I just wish it was quieter.”

Ron contemplated her words before nodding in agreement. “There’s a lot of people around, too.”

Hermione paused, wondering if she’d heard him correctly. Is he implying that—no...maybe? There was only one way to find out. 

So, she summoned all her Gryffindor bravery before asking her next question.

“You could always take me somewhere we could be alone…” 

She was staring down, not quite meeting his eyes, but that didn’t stop her from seeing his eyes widen in surprise.

“Do you want to go upstairs for a bit? Get away from all this?” Ron gestured towards the boy’s staircase.

Hermione was shocked, and all she could do was nod. He turned to walk away and she followed, glancing back briefly to make sure no one noticed where they were about to disappear to. Her eye caught Seamus and Dean in a rapt conversation with some of the seventh years, and Neville was chatting it up with Colin.

When I read the 19 yrs later scene I imagined Ron getting extremely buff, growing his hair out, and having a few tattoos and piercings (maybe not piercings so much). Idk I always imagined him going through a phase after the war of him being and normal teenager (which he was) and it just stuck to him til adulthood even before reading that scene.

Romione headcanons:

The height difference between Ron and Hermione. He’s really tall and gained a bit more muscle after the war, so she likes cuddling him because it feels like being wrapped in a huge blanket.

Ron likes hugging her too, especially if he gets to hold her tightly for a long time and just stay silent. He picks her up often just because he finds it fun, and she thinks it’s really hot. Ron’s the big spoon.

Ron likes listening to Hermione read to him. It had taken her some time to get used to somebody listening, but she loves it too. Ron puts his head on her laps while she caresses his hair.

Hermione likes dancing to muggle rock music, so she let Ron listen to the biggest hits, and Ron loved it. They own a record player and sometimes they dance to Nick Cave, Bob Dylan or Fleetwood Mac. Ron also loves Bon Jovi now.

Hermione is still not really good at cooking, so Ron’s the cook, and she enjoys it so much. After all, she’s good at plenty of other things, and it’s important for Ron to have tasty food.

They often go on double dates with Harry and Ginny because they just feel so comfortable in each others’ company. Sometimes Harry and Hermione show Ron and Ginny the muggle world (cinema, coffeeshops, shopping), sometimes they go to Hogsmade or Diagon Alley together.

Otherwise they are really private about their relationship, they even keep their engagement a secret for some time (not from Harry and Ginny though). They enjoy being alone around each other and having their inner jokes/secrets.

Ron brings home sweets from the Weasley shop because Hermione has a severe hunger for candy after her pretty candyless childhood. Ron’s memorised all of her favourite tastes.

Hermione’s taught Ron how to play the piano. It took a lot of effort and practice, but every minute was worth it, because it was her. He now plays her favourite pieces and something more modern like Beatles or City of Stars.

They loved La-La-Land.

Hermione goes to sleep late, while Ron — early. But she loves reading at night while his head rests against her shoulder. Or even when he’s just near her.

Ron has beaten up a dude once for him calling Hermione a mudblood. Ron’s always had a temper, and Hermione’s his wife now. It landed on the first page of the Daily Prophet, Hermione tried not to leave her cabinet for a week after that. But she was low-key proud and content.

Unlike Harry and Ginny who are batshit crazy and fun loving and passionate, Ron and Hermione are very romantic and gentle and soft with each other.

Ron is absolutely amazed by his wife and thinks that she’s the coolest person ever.

Hermione loves Ron senselessly and has never been so comfortable around anybody else.
