RTX 2060 is priced at $349 and is a new Ray Tracing GPU | | Xtremegaminerd
We already know about the RTX 2080 Ti, 2080 and 2070, and how they perform with Ray Tracing ON. Although these cards are very powerful in gaming performance as compared to the previous generation graphics cards, we still find them to be weak enough in Ray Tracing though they were specifically made for this technology. RTX 2060 is the new card in the family and is the successor of the GTX 1060. It is said to be much faster than the GTX 1060 according to the report of VideoCardz which was first to report some new info on the card and will cost $349. Pricing is I believe OK as the performance increase is said to be significant but the thing which is most important is its performance in Ray Tracing technology. The card is said to be launched on 15th January and will feature 1920 Cuda cores with 30 RT cores which is around less than half of the RTX 2080 Ti. The GPU is using TU-106 GPU core and will feature base/boost clock speeds of 1365Mhz/1680Mhz respectively. According to the benchmarks
