Trailer For Irish Famine Drama BLACK 47 - Movies In Focus
For such an earth-shattering occurance, there have been very few films dealing with the Great Irish Famine. The Famine killed millions and its aftermath still echoes throughout the country 200 years later. Director Lance Daly is tackling the event head-on in Black 47, a new drama with a strong cast (Hugo Weaving, Stephen Rea, Jim Broadbent and Barry Keoghan). Black 47 looks like it packs a serious punch, with a nice touch of the Bravehearts.
