Little Weekend Links 14 - Little Observationist
Last weekend, Jorge and I celebrated our two-year anniversary at the same place we had our second date: Le Quecumbar in Battersea, a 1930s Parisian throwback with comfort food, delicious wine, live gypsy jazz, swing and a bit of blues. Sunday we had our good friends Danny and Lucy over for dinner. I made spinach-feta lasagne and chocolate chip banana bread. Jorge escaped on a work trip to soak up some Italian sun, so that left me with a few quiet nights to work on some writing projects. Tomorrow night, dinner at a friend’s place in Notting Hill and then some a night of thai food with my cousin on Monday. I’m off to snowy Boston and upstate New York for two weeks from Thursday, but the days are starting to get a tad bit longer so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that by the time I come back in early March, it will start to feel like the beginning of Spring!
