Scott Schweppe - Barnes Family Funeral Home
Scott Alan Schweppe, age 39, of Sparta, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 in Bennington, Vermont. He was born October 23, 1980, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Roger Dean and Joanne (Neal) Schweppe. Scott graduated from Sparta High School in 1999. After high school he worked for Nells Carlson Co., installing commercial heating and cooling systems. In 2004 he graduated from C1 Truck Driving School in Springfield and began his career as a long distance over the road truck driver. Scott was always striving for a challenge and was presently employed by Trans-United, Inc. located in Burns Harbor, Indiana. He specialized in heavy haul and enjoyed the thrill and challenge of moving specialized loads throughout the United States and Canada. His fellow co-workers describe him as hardworking, trustworthy, dependable, dedicated and on time. He was a mentor and a true friend always wanting those around him to succeed and be the best at their profession. Scott was very proud to be a Superload Driver and part of the T-U Team. Scott had a huge heart and great love for his family, his work family and his friends. He loved to make those around him happy. There was never a dull moment when you were in Scott’s presence. His sense of humor always kept you on your toes. During his down time, he loved working with his dad, especially on projects for his Grandma. He loved the great outdoors, fishing, boating, paintballing and video gaming. He was preceded in death by his Granddad, Roger Schweppe. He is survived by his loving Grandma, the love of his life, Betty Schweppe White, Sparta; his father, Roger D. Schweppe and wife Kathy, Sparta; his mother, Joanne Reed, Branson; brother, Justen Reed, Seattle; two daughters, Addison and Haileigh, Sparta; son Tucker, Arkansas, his fiancé, Kristin Ebright and her two children, Tori and Cejay, Sparta and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Funeral services for Scott will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 30, 2019 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark with Pastor Bally Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Sparta Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday until service time in the funeral home. Arrangements under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. On line condolences may be shared at
