A child's death sentence highlights the fight over Sudan's legal system - African Arguments
In both the courtrooms and on the streets, activists are calling for Sudan’s legal system to uphold human rights. On 27 August, 2013, two boys lost their lives. Abas Muhammad Noor and Abdallah al-Ameen were playing football when a fight broke out between them. Abas, then 15 years old, stabbed and killed 17-year-old Abdallah.
