The DAEFLE - Alliance Française de Manchester - Learn French, Live French!
The Diplôme d'Aptitude à l'Enseignement du Français Langue Etrangère is a professional qualification for teaching French as a foreign language, co-organised by the Alliance française Paris Ile-de-France and the CNED (French national centre for distance learning). The DAEFLE is a distance-learning qualification, and may be taken as initial professional training or as part of a candidate's ongoing professional development. To receive the qualification, the candidate must complete 480 hours of training (6 modules) and successfully pass the final exam, which is made up of several tests.
