Use it as an accent or plant in masses.? More info Wild Blue Indigo (Baptisia australis), quart pots – $5 each, or 3 for $13 A late spring blooming wildflower that after a few years grows to more shrub-like proportions in bright sun or part shade.? Beautiful stalks of purplish blue flowers attract pollinators, and the seeds provide food for birds in the summer and fall.? It’s also a nitrogen fixing plant.? This is a bullet-proof, easy to grow native. Can handle part shade, but produces the most flowers in full sun.? It needs a structure or fence to climb on, and can reach heights of up to $30 feet.?
