Punting in Cambridge, UK - The February Fox
It was rainy when we arrived in Cambridge, but that didn’t stop us from taking a stroll through the quaint little area. Fox was in love with the scenery along the Backs and made friends with a couple ducks while we waited for our big treat of the day: punting! Punts are similar to gondolas, with a bit different shape and they use a pole instead of an oar. We chose to go with a company called Scudamore’s Punting for our journey on the River Cam. We went with the basic group tour, but they also offer rentals, private tours, and special trips involving champagne, tea time, or the likes. Our helpful guide tipped us off about which building is which, gave us history on the colleges, and even pointed out the bar where Pink Floyd played their first gig. Take a peek through our images and then press play on the video of our adventure at the end! Thank you Scudamore’s Punting for letting us tag along on one of your spectacular group tours. We had a blast! Related
