Mark B. Childress – ALU School of Wildlife Conservation
Mark B. Childress, is the former United States Ambassador to Tanzania and former Deputy Chief of Staff for Planning in the Obama administration. Mark has a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Law School. He is currently the Vice president and general counsel for the Environmental Working Group, a Washington-based environmental research organization. Prior to his work in government, Mark conducted Rotary Foundation-funded agricultural research in several villages in Southeastern Nigeria.
